Hit the Turbo button! As I am writing this it is going full blast on my son and my dog and hes freezing! LOL
Is the remote RF or IR?
I'm not sure what the abbreviations mean, please elaborate.
@@shopwithnez Does the remote work over Radio Frequency 433hz (Fan Remotes) or Infra Red (like old TV remotes). So I can evaluate how I can integrate it in my Smart Home.
Infra Red requires line of sight, so if the remote view is obstructed from the receiver it should not work. A quick way to test it if it's RF or IR is to use it from another room. RF should simply go through the wall. You can also see the IR transmitter on remotes glow in your phone camera, when the button is pressed.
Turns out it's an IR remote. Not optimal. But I like the fan a lot. So I'm going to keep it and create a ESP32 + IR transmitter Wi-Fi MQTT remote for this fan. It's a rather simple solution but I'll need to reverse engineer all IR codes from levoit remote.
How can I turn the display off without putting it in sleep mode?
I think it fades on its own after awhile like a screen saver no?
Can i turn off the led display
I would also like an answer to this. That LED at night would be horrible
