When you try to propogate keep the number of leaves minimum,so that stem will produce energy to generate roots...
Even i do the same..
Just in time when I plan to go around my plants with scissors!

Hi Ann thankyou very mych for sharing such tips for us beginners. I have been trying since long and lost all of my cuttings . After seeing your previous video i tried and all my cuttings have rooted now. Also can we use hair pins to hold the cuttings in soil instead of wires?
