I usually don't like guest readers, but she did well.
Ran the category, and as a Canadian, would be embarassed if I missed the first one.

Geez, they were very easy if I could answer them (only a h.s. grad). They needed scientists for this?
If there is a gender gap in STEM, it is by choice. Less women choose STEM field by their own choice, not because of any discrimination. Discrimination was true in the past, not anymore.
I love Jeopardy to death but I can't support a show that is so blatantly partisan.
Featuring a black scientist during black history month and they're partisan....lol. Jesus what a small world you live in.
There is no gender gap
You’re objectively wrong
If there is a gender gap in STEM, it is by choice. Less women choose STEM field by their own choice, not because of any discrimination. Discrimination was true in the past, not anymore.
Who declared that for society to be “fair” everythang must be distributed per the demographic?
If I were a woman who could leverage my gender, I would not waste that power on STEM where three days a week are spent in mind and butt numbing project, budget and schedule status meetings, where creativity is stifled by risk averse managers who fear looking bad and career advancement is found kissing up the big dogs after work in fern bars and Saturday morning golf games.
STEM is Dilbert meets Caddy Shack.
Who would choose that if there were another way?
Woke political theater.
Get help.
I would be so embarrassed if my only qualification for a position was my gender or race. smh
She's a molecular biologist and Phd....what do you do?
@@batkat0 he flat out says she's there because she a woman. uh, that's what the word gender refers to. wake up!
They’re trying to give females in the field more of a platform, which is a good thing. Your initial comment is asinine.
@@kylecreed2748 Well, hopefully the female Firefighter that comes to your rescue was hired because she can lift 300 pounds as opposed to the female that was hired just because she was female. Or the ER Dr that was hired for being female instead of an actual Dr. Or, the pharmacist that was hired for being a female instead of a real pharmacist. Or an account. Are you choosing your account because she's a woman or because she's a whiz with numbers? How about your automobile mechanic, do you choose the female one, because she's a female, despite her never even learning how to check the oil? How about a teacher for your children? Are you choosing the female or the person with an actual teaching degree. So to you, a person's sex is their first and most important qualification for a job? Wow, you have problems, bro. Sucks to be you.
Those aren’t her only credentials … but still your point is very much heard. People try to rationalize the way we give individuals advantages based on their race or gender or other uncontrollable personal characteristics, but the arguments for are hallow, both in the past and today. Currently, they site history as a way to justify the treatment of certain people as lesser than in the present. It typically comes with 2 crucial points baked in: The incorrect assumption that because they were privileged in the past, no form of discrimination or bias can effect them in the present, and/or that they deserve it since their ancestors never suffered through it. Very misguided indeed.
Her last name is Black? I _never_ could have guessed!
Lose the woke politics; stick to being a game show. Please.
Really? DEI infects Jeopardy…SMH.
Wow this looks dumbed down and political.
