      @xayvath5221 The new Pajero will be a completely new package, new interior, new tech and a total overhaul of the old one. I think it will be the best of both worlds with shininess and capability.

    I've owned a Pajero Sport Exceed for 2 years and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good family sized 4WD. The only negative for me is the standard Toyo Open Country A32 tyres (these are not A/T tyres)... they are absolutely crap in wet weather in 2WD, but the ESC improves grip if used in 4WD mode. I just upgraded to a new set of Falken Wildpeak AT3W All terrains... problem solved!

      Not really in every point.
      Sport have solid rear axle and it's body on frame which is the way Mitsubishi should've stay with their main suv.
      Other than that, even eliminating the frame won't stop the rust, which is another issue with the previous Prado competitor.
      I'd rather have them make new Sport, based on new Triton which got slightly bigger (especiall width) and as a result - improved interior space.
      The only missing thing is short wheelbase option.

      Don't you understand????
      Mitsubishi has commenced development of a new, full-size Pajero available 2027.
      Yes - The old Pajero was discontinued in 2021.
      No stock left for me. I couldn't get one and ended up buying a Pajero Exceed Sport in early 2022.
      The current Pajero Sport was based on the Triton Ute, and raiding the Mitsubishi spare parts bin. It wouldn't even make up my driveway ín 2WD. Ít's way overpriced for what you get.
      I had a Prado for a long long time and it did everything. Supplemented that later with an Amarok V6. Bought a Pajero Sport Exceed to replace the Prado, and kept it less than 18 months and then bought a Subaru XT Outback to replace it. The Outback has better quality, power and traction than the PS. The PS has slightly more luggage space, and ride ht. But the Outback is so much better ....

    • @Kierdziol
      @Kierdziol Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@strider88888 So for now we can estimate that the new Pajero will be bigger, have hybryid drivetrian so yet another oversized/overweight model while there's not much in the compact market.
      Also, comparing utillity based suv to mid-size station wagon/crossover (Outback) is just silly.
      Better replace it with something else before cvt will wore out.

You would definitely be silly to get a 4wd if you are going to drive at high speed or don't need an off-road vehicle. If you are driving behind one you can see them lean just going around a corner.
