Beautiful edging job, the clean up is looking great, a pressure washing job on the retaining wall would really make the wall stand out, I believe pressure wash first then fix the chipped/broken sections of Wall, as for the sidewalk, depends on the municipality, some will replace at no charge to the home owner, others may do a certain percentage between gov and home owner, just have to get with your local mayor/ city council

This is hard work! Who knows how long these lawns have been taken care of properly. Also doesn’t the city replace broken up sidewalks in your state. I live in Southern California and I guess bcuz this state is sue crazy lol the city is somewhat on top of it. I can imagine a good power wash on retaining walls would make them look like a million bucks. You might be in danger of breaking down due to all the cracks and chipping away. I enjoy watching both you guys CZcams videos.

Outstanding job guys, you have gone way beyond, for free, no less. Just wondering why the residents allowed their sidewalk to get to this point, unless they expect the city to clean it up. The whole block should be taking a nice donation to at least cover the gas, if not dinner. That whole sidewalk really needs to be redone, concrete all busted and broken.
Perhaps now this will get the city attention to get something done, after you guys did all the back breaking job.

It's interesting how some townships handle sidewalk maintenance. For example in some townships, the municipality is responsible for sidewalk maintenance and in others it's the homeowner. Where I live, it's the homeowner who's responsible to maintain the walkways as a way for City Hall to save money on that kind of expense, I guess. We have lots of retired in my neighborhood so they aren't always physically able to do that kinda work, so God bless you guys for doing so a good service for your community.

Nice results. If you guys had a gas powered serious edger, than you could have one guy running the edger while the other comes behind and clean things up. And than switch up now and then to give each equal efforts...

Ever think of trying out the wire brush attachment for the string trimmer on stuff like that, low/med rpm would likely save you tons of time then come back with a scoop or snow shovel an its all gone. That hasnt been done in years to get that bad nice job

Incredible work to clean sidewalk. Have to wonder how neighbors or the city let it get this messy. It isn't safe for an elderly or partially disabled person to walk. Good thing you have the gear and kind heart to help on this. Well done.

Great job, guys! What a difference you have made! Just wondering: Are the sidewalks the responsibility of the local Council? Maybe now they'll believe something needs to be done, to fix them, now you've exposed their brokenness...Something of a parable? Blessings all round!

Have you considered getting a water pressure system to remove this soil on the sidewalk? Techzone and/ or quantum tech showcase tools that could speed up the process.

Great job. I think the city is going to have to replace those side walks now because I think the only thing holding them together was the grass growing between the cracks.
