There is an OSA Community in India under the OSA Vicariate of the Orient based in the Philippines or try the Norbertines which also follows the Rule of St. Augustine and they have community in India. Also, the Augustinian Recollect friars are present in india.
Can monks own businesses at the individual level?
as far as I am aware Monks tend to live in community, therefore they give up all they own when they join the community and as such share everything with each other, Monks also tend to live simple vows so it is unlikely that an individual Monk of a community would own a business or indeed work outside of their community. In terms of business Monks often make wine, candles, honey etc which they sell to their community to help with the upkeep of their own community. So overall Monks tend to live in community, give up all they own, and live simple holy lives in prayer!
