No. unfortunately. The contract the league has with the ump union gives all of the power to the union. MLB cant do anything to Angel....they've tried. When it's time to renew the contract the MLB needs to make some changes and if the union says no, lock them out. Replacement umps cannot be worse than Angel. MLB MUST break the stranglehold the ump union has, guys like Angel are hurting the product.

There are currently 23 Cubans playing in the MLB which is more than those from Puerto Rico, a Commonwealth of the United States, Mexico, Canada (where they have an MLB team), Japan, etc., Dominican Republic and Venezuela top all foreign countries playing in the MLB, Cuba ranks 4th. That not high enough for you?
