How would this work with the Apex Trident? I know the Trident tests all three elements and doses in different amounts depending on what element is short. This method wants to dose all three at the same amount.
Another great video, I’m becoming more intrigued by the Aquaforest product line. One little comment since I watch way too many of these videos - I wasn’t a big fan of the fade to black transitions or the text popping up on the screen but not aligned with the audio
I currently use All For Reef and love it. Using it on 13.5 gallon and 50 gallon. I think if you are going for powdered All For Reef it is slightly cheaper that this
All for reef is good but u will still have to add trace elements separately. if u do ICP after using all for reef couple of months u will find that your lacking trace elements as I did then now I stared using red sea ABCD with AFR dosing separately. Will do ICP again soon to check on trace elements
My acropora aquarium run on this product is doing great 👍 no adjustments needed at the begining just test what your system uses in kh in 24 hours then start dosing a equal low amount of each 123 and see how the kh has adjusted and add more or less of all them equally over the next 24 hours it will eventually reach equilibrium and then after 3 months of consistent tests of each element your ready to add more corals and check daily to to see if the systems kh uptake has increased and increase daily amount of each accordingly always add equal amounts of each ! I will add for a well established 400 ltr acro sps aquarium i dose 100 ml daily of each to maintain all trace elements and base usage on kh reading to how much i dose. It can become an expensive route with sps, but a moderately stocked lps or mixed softie and lps aquarium will be cheap to maintain on the 123 method
Great video and an amazing product. 👍🏻💜👍🏻
This video is just what I needed :) thank you
What is the difference between this af component and the red sea trace colors abcd? Thanks guys

I'm on this now and am debating converting over to all for reef. Has anyone done this?

For tanks under 150g. All for Reef is probably the easiest and cheapest way to go.

@@quransunnah96 so would you say af 3 components will provide all you need vs all for reef?
Hi any any update on this?@@quransunnah96

You don’t have to make any adjustments before using aquaforest 1-3 components, you simply start dosing them an they reach their own equilibrium!

Do we still need to do water changes with this method? Or no?
@@hvalentino9573 no water changes done it for years and set up multiple systems same method
@@bopeep7806 when you said same method Is just the component 123 without water changes?
I used 1-2-3 and my tank crashed even I used the directions and test every day. To be honest I won’t use this component 👎👎👎👎
