Titus Makin will play Jackson West, a zealous rookie officer whose father is a top commander of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Alyssa Diaz will play Angela, a training officer who hopes to become a detective, but is in trouble when Jackson West is assigned to her because his father has a say in the department. Mercedes Mason as Captain Zoe Andersen, the lead's confident, irate commanding officer.

This is typical with addicts. It’s also typical with those wanting to help. They want you to just stop using. But you can’t.
I understood this way too far. One of my elder cousin's, he's married and got couple of grown up kids. But he's still using. Had to be in a hospital for a surgery. The painkillers didn't even work for a CT scan for his leg as he can't straighten it up for more than few minutes. This shit messed up his nerves it seems, nobody told me this, but I'm seeing a pattern in drunkards, smokers and now substance abusers. It's so sad.😢
Those who believe you are making a conscious decision to stick a needle in your veins, don't understand what withdrawal feels like. It gets to the point where you don't want to get high, but the fear of dope sickness controls your entire existence. People mock METHADONE & SUBOXONE users but medication assisted treatment allows the population of opioid users to reintigrate to society. Crime plummets, and if given the opportunity a majority will become successful enough to not be a detrimental effect on society
Or they don’t know how or where to find the help they need.
For me, rehab was not an option because of my agoraphobia. I had a case worker who helped me with a counselor and a nurse practitioner who specializes in psychiatry. The therapist and the PA spoke to each other about how to help me. It took a lot of different meditations until she came across a new drug to try.
I Worked!! It took me a year to get all my affairs sorted and see a path forward.
Still agoraphobic and having an excellent life!

Except none of this was going to save her and it was only going to destroy him in the process. You can’t help an addict that doesn’t want help.
@@melissacoviello2886 In reality; you can't help a *person* who doesn't want to be helped. Regardless if they are an addict or not. It is, sadly, what ultimately resulted in one of my longest friendships ending.
This scene is one of the reasons why Lucy is one of my favorite characters
My mother was a drug addict at some point she got an infection but because of all the smoking and drugs she used her body was too weak to fight it off she wasn't a good parent or person and I wasn't close with her but when she died I wasn't able to be there to say goodbye and that I love her everyone should cherish every moment with their parents because you never know when you could lose them
She's right and I hope children are not involved 😮😮😮

i’m glad they changed the laws on reporting overdoses. you no longer can get searched or arrested for just reporting the overdose. before many addicts would not report the overdose or run because they didn’t want to get in trouble themselves. now that’s no longer a problem and it’s actually saved a good amount of lives
Uh huh. Saved for what? So they could go back home and rob their loved ones for more drug money? So they could go out, hungry and tweaking with a gun, to rob an old lady for her social security check? So they can toss their used needles in children’s sandboxes? Yeah. What a great change to the law. Keep protecting the criminals. Keep punishing the innocent with your own soft hearted horseshit. I’m sure that kid that got hep c agrees with you. I’m sure the 80 year old man missing his wife because she was killed by a tweaker for her social security check agrees. I know I do. What a great thing, to keep my mother out of prison, so she can continue being an addict. Disgusting. Idiocy dressed up as compassion.

The woman used to be the cop's wife but divorced him after she got addicted to crack.

@dr.doofenshmirtz6829 he wasn't telling her to stay in the car to keep her out of harms way though. He wanted to face his wife and he probably wouldn't have made good choices if he went up there. She stopped him from making bad choices and possibly saved his career.

I don't think making sure someone bas narcan is enabling, u honestly can get it free most places and that just makes sure someone doesn't pass from an o d., enabling would be giving money or if he was bringing her clean rigs to use or substances but never watched this show, its just been popping up on my feed on here and lol a few of the scenes ive gotten pretty invested in.

@@jjropo3. Yeah ive been on both ends this type of thing lol now if this shows older i guess i can see how they would think it was enabling but i think now with knowing more about addiction in general helps a bit more. Not condoning it but it's gonna effect some people either way yanno.
why people have sympathy towards addict,i would never know...ffs,they brimg the problem to themselves and then play victim..
