Motorcycle riding is inherently dangerous. This video was filmed on a closed course with a professional rider with years of riding and teaching experience. The Mx Factory and all related personnel are not to be held responsible for any injury resulting from attempting these techniques. The bottom line is to wear safety gear, take it slow, have fun, and consult a riding coach when necessary. The bottom bottom line, DON'T BE DUMB
I got a bike for Christmas and I am 13, it has been so much fun it is a new Kawasaki klx 140r and I am shopping for some gear this week, thank you this video was very helpful 😀
Hehe that's great and I really hope you enjoy it. You just got the best toy humanity ever made
Also im 16 and ride a 300cc 6 gear 4t and a 125cc pit bike and they so fun
Specially the pit bike bc its just so easy to control and have fun on and it fits in smaller trails with more narrow pathways
@@speedyboi349 Thanks, it’s been amazing so far just got gloves boots and a helmet as well. Best Christmas present ever!
@@christiankent4937 i just had a great experience with dirtbikes when I started out and I really wish everyone starting out to have a great start too 👍
@@speedyboi349 do u like the 300? I’m assuming it’s the klx 300, I’ve been looking at that one is it super fast compared to ur pitter?
@@bryleehumell6624 no actually
Its a egl 300
Yeah its like a ssr but with a little moh powah and lighter weight forks
I like it a lot and had not problems with it and the top speed is really good for the road as well topping at around 81-85mph
I would recommend it to any intermediate rider really even if its Chinese its really not a bad bike but I still have not tested it in the track enough to tell you if the suspension is good for that but for enduro its really good
The only problem its that the stock light is not that bright and the kickstand slightly rubs my swingarm and it destroyed the sticker
Edit: the engine is so solid man
Like the top end is nothing too great or too bad, its just decent but the durability is insane
We talking you can give er the beans in a straight line 6th gear wide open and let it rev at 80ish mph and that thing just wont snap a valve
I live in Michigan and riding in the snow is one of the most fun things in my opinion.
I got my first real bike a kx250f 3 months ago. Lol I spend more time fixing all the stuff I break more than I do riding so far. Everyone local says it’s normal to fall a lot when you first start riding tracks but it’s still a little embarrassing when the little kid on a 85 is soaring and you are just rolling jumps and bombing corners. Good times!
Dont worry about it no matter how fast you get someone will be faster.
Do what you can do and don’t try to over do it and you’ll be fine ..... everyone gets passed by the kid on the 85
And they roost you…😩
@@brandonreimer184 oh yeah! you’re right! Lol I’m in my late 20s, not trying to go pro, just looking to learn to ride decent and have a good time.
@@FirstGendodgegarage yeah man! I know! lol little bastards are always so good out there. Hey I even ask them for tips some time. Most of the local kids have superb technique.
I got yz125 about 3 months ago and still unsure how to generally get quicker what could i do to help. and hope you all have a good Christmas!!
Just take it slow and work on the fundamentals and basic techniques. Most riders ride slower when they’re pushing at 100% typically ride at around 75%. Best of luck and happy holidays man
tryout new tracks and practice practice practice
Practice practice. The more ride time you get the faster and better you get even if you just ride for fun
Become comfortable in the powerband, don’t shift up half way through band. You really want to let it eat in 2nd+
Might be a little late but just keep practicing learn how the bike feels in corners learn it's powerband to improve your shifting and have fun
Just got a yz 250f and holy the amount of power it puts out. It’s my first bike since a 50 and man it’s been a learning experience. My biggest struggle so far honestly is standing up.
Same here man. Just got a race kx250f and i jumped up from a crf70f. The power curve is crazy but my biggest problem is turning around i gotta get off the bike and do it because im not good at braking and using the clutch
@@jakedurand7428 dude yeah I love it though!!
Little billy just learned on the 50 time to get him a250
I got my 150 4 stroke after 7 years from the last time I rode my 50, standing us difficult but do leg exercises to build up strength
I jumped from a yamaha ttr125 to a honda crf250f and even just that little of a jump in size is crazy. I'm learning as I go. Im not a complete beginner rider, but im also not a beginner. Just need to learn how to balance better at lower speeds and not panic
i appreciate these videos so much I just got my first bike
They are for people just like you!
Thanks for the video it helped
And merry Christmas to you and happy new year keep up the great videos. I have a little problem I ride ok I stand 90 percent of time but when I go up a steep terrain either I staw or I loop out what exercise Could I do to help with this
Merry Christmas!!!
Let’s go I love when you upload
Don't just study the controls
Also study where u are gonna ride or what ur gonna ride through
If there's a rock, a bump there, plan where are u gonna u turn and if the ground is slippery or not
I prefer some nice short grass dirt for beginners because its softer to fall on the dirt and the short grass is grippier than the loose wet dirt.
Edit: also if ur clutch is too hard for ur hand just take the cable out and soak it with automatic transmission fluid. Hehe works all the time
I’m no beginner but yet I still love watching the beginner vids
I have one wuestion how do i get over the fear of going fast/lower the force of myself being pulled off bike
I've been riding sense I was 4 still somehow interesting to watch
im thinking about getting a dirt bike but the problem is i live in a area where theres not much to ride other than the street but im under 18 any advice on whether i should buy one or if its not fit for me
Love the Video
Im looking to buy a dirt bike. I've never ridden one before would a kx85 be a good bike to start on?
Hello, I'm from Thailand, I would like to know some tricks for getting into the bank of dirt bikes or curves of dirt bikes.
I have ridden 4 wheelers before in my youth, but now I'm 54, and because of knee injuries can no longer hike, bike, and run like I want. So my work friends have been telling me to get a used dirt bike, and start slowly going out with them on the weekends and work my way up. So I'm 54, in good thin shape, can I learn dirt bike riding? Or am I too old and will hurt myself. Be honest, I went with them last week and rode B, and had some fun. Tell me what you think.
Do you have a track in Austin that you give beginner lessons at like you used to at the mx factory.
Spoaks Mx in Lockhart
Can't find the link to sign up
i wish you had longer videos so you can get into more detail
Can u do a video about all the gear we should wear
Helmet, boots, gloves, chest protector, goggles, knee pads, elbow pads, dirt bike pants, and good insurance for when you get hurt
The bike at 0:43 is a 03 to 05 Honda XR100R; I have one and her name's Christine. Seeing that XR run across the field like that hurts, but I know its okie.
I watch all the vids
Am new and I was driving my bike and when I wanted to go to 2 gear it went to neutral you know y ?
Knee braces is defo something where you don't want to go cheap, learned that the hard way too. I thougt basic 2 joint cheap ones would do but I managed to break top of my shinbone to 15 pieces and rip out every ligament from the knee. 6 months in and the leg still feels pretty shit so prolly another 6 months of recovery, if it ever even gets as good as it was.
Oh shit bro goodluck!
@@xKris93 year jas past and I have a new surgery in a month 😅. Gotta try to make bone surfaces even and fix some joint stuff. Temporary pension before I talk with the insurance company where and when I go to school etc. Can't do my current job or pretty much anything else physical either 😅. There is high hopes for the leg getting better but they don't want to risk and wait an another year paying full salary because its still possible that I would have to get a new job so they just decided to "play safe". Wont complain tho I was thinking a career change anyway before this happened.
What if I don’t have propor protection
Happy holidays
Happy Holidays!
@@TheMxFactory MERRY CHRISTMAS THE MX FACTORY AN. I'm coming from riding a harley. Is it the same shit?
It'll be really good if you could answer this question but how do you stand on sand and not make your front wheel too heavy and also how to wait the bike . Thanks
Ride on the balls of your feet, knees behind your foot pegs, and unlock your hips. Smooth throttle helps too
3:15 thats my nearest trackk
Any recommendations for knee pads. I’m 41 been riding since 5 only ever ran the chest protector boots gloves and helmet
I would at least get knee pads they have saved me before
👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
❤
👍
Im a new rider i got a Tao db17 125 cc 4 stroke in may 2021
Yea if you wanna ride the track tho you might wanna get a actual bike like a kx or Ltm
But it’s still good for new riders and stuf
@@cJaded420 ive had it on track this year here its a ok of a bike buy yes im looking at yz85 bikes
I'm 30, getting into it now to be able to ride with buddy and his kid, but I'm mortified of crashing and not being able to work. Hoping a lifetime of riding pedal bikes at least helps.
How's it going? I'm 26 and looking to get my first dirtbike soon
@Vazerin haha I crashed and wrecked pretty good. Stuck to downhill bikes.
@deathmetaldownhiller7874 yeah same, I got a YFZ450R (In profile pic) that I got tossed off, luckily I didn't break my neck cause thats what I landed on, though I had a month of constant headaches up the left side of my head due to nerve damage, still breathing, still riding
Watch every vid baybe
Your support means so much to us!
Bro i broke my knee cap just doing every day stuff... fell over a saw and smashed my knee on the ground.
And guys TAIL BONE PROTECTION is a must I’ve broken my tail bone to many times to not warn y’all it’s been 5 years since I broke it last and it still hurts
I never seen a rider use this and never seen anyone fall on the ass. How you broke your so much
@@Kdjoao he must like jumping off and falling on his but
I’m 16 what’s the best bike for me?
Age doesn't matter you height matters and skill
What’s the best dirt bike for an 13 year old
It depends on height/weight mostly
102pounds 5 foot
@@pmplays8385 if ur 5ft,0 ; 85 if ur above 5,4 125 or 250f
@@pmplays8385 I’d say a 2 stroke 85cc
I’m 14 5’11 59kg and I’m looking for a dirt bike I’ve never rode before :)
Yz125 or any of that sort is best to begin at adult hights
i dont have alot of gear i only have helmet and goggles + gloves
Bro get boots your gunna lose a toe
Never take advice about snow riding from a Texan!
Guys,I made the mistake of buying a race bike as a first bike and I have no regrets
Aint no one cares about themselfs when they fall, all we care about if our bike 😅
Frist to comment let’s go
Thanks for the support bro!
And the most important tip:
don't use YZ250 or CR250R as your first school desk
Rookie here, just curious why not to start on those bikes? Those are exactly what my buddy has been telling me to start on.
@@deathmetaldownhiller7874 A beginner should be a little short of motorcycle power. So that there is a desire to unscrew the gas. Then the motorcycle will cause pleasant emotions and a desire to train. 250-2stroke MX bikes will only cause fear... 125-2stroke or 250-4stroke are more preferable for a beginner
@user-rf2df2iu6t I definitely misunderstood which bikes you read. I'm still not used to model names. I pissed around on his dad's 80cc and fell in love with it so I understand your point.
First
Thanks for watching!
#mx factory here are my crashes
470th like
"They", STILL don't know how to do anything correct. And I want to see all those crashes here on CZcams, like we used to. I don't do, ANY other junk like Instagram, Facebook etc.
You keep saying "We", not only have I thought about this alot, but it's a good time to ask, is there a we, or will there ever be a We again ?
