• How to Parry Commander... Neat video with a parry strategy against this bastard. Had to cheese it a little in the end because didn't want to die when Niall was at 10% again.
I do have Rivers of Blood, but it's lower level (+9) than my Nagakiba (+23), so I tried using it instead for this fight. if I'd kept losing, I would've switched to Corpse Piler I think.
Use summon at start of fight. Use bewitching branches on Nialls summons to turn them against him. Watch as three Spirit ashes gang up on Niall and quickly drop him to half health.
I actually tried that first, and if I summoned my spirit, the branches became inactive and I couldn't use them. that's why my strategy was to first get the two knights charmed and then once they were dead summon my spirit for the rest of the fight. I ran out of branches though :D
@@VirtuousSaint Well that makes absolutely no sense because that’s about how this fight goes every time for me. Summon Black Knife Bewitching branch on each knight Launch incants from range. Victory. So if it’s not letting you use branches that’s pretty weird.
@@VirtuousSaint i just massacred him and his friends with a zweihender 🤣 his moveset is pretty predictable, just move around and deal with his goons since he's passive when they are out, then just 1 vs 1 him. His moves are just flashy
I did try to use Niall's summons too by poking them with the charming flower item (Bewitching Branch), but I only had 5 of those, and couldn't use them to my advantage fully (you can't charm if you have your own summon, so a couple of attempts were test runs to see how well charm worked). it's a bit hard to charm both of them at the start of the fight, because Niall makes short work of them one-on-one). if I tried summoning my spirit at the start, he would just get stun-locked by the three of them using frostbite AoE all the time.
This person's head may explode if they sees how trivial this fight can be with a couple bewitching branches...
I used them all up before recording, Niall destroyed the charmed Banished knights in seconds :')
He doesn't power up until you kill both summons so using your own summon to fight the other summons while you fight him is a good strategy
Dude almost did a full starburst stream from sao
I was using bloody slash until I found rivers of blood nearby. Much better

Summon Black Knife
Bewitching branch on each knight
Launch incants from range.
Victory.

Get your poise up and u should be fine
did you know that if you click b and a directional button, you dodge?
I was trying to stun lock him with my bloodloss (both weapons have 100+ blodloss buildup), but I think they're immune to bloodloss in this fight.

Its actually better is you use your own summons …
All the fights are easier with summons, even ridahn if you cheese him with long range magic

I'm greedy :') Was trying too hard to get as many bloodloss procs as possible, but couldn't get the interrupts.
@@VirtuousSaint fair enough, gotta learn to control that greed to some degree as it screws everyone over, ik from experience
