Hello Shaila! Thank you for your question. In your CV, you should include only the most significant rotations. For example, you can include a rotation that led you to pursue your chosen specialty, or a rotation where you performed so well that you got a reference from the attending. Generally, your rotations and your performance will be shared with the programs via MSPE and other application components.

If you're a non traditional student should you include honors and awards from undergrad 10 years ago?

Hi Kb, thanks for reaching out! Generally we recommend including more recent entries on your residency CV, unless the honors and awards speak to your preparedness for your chosen specialty or your unique qualities as an applicant :)

If you do a coursera’s course that don’t have credit you can put in a CV or no ? And if I can where I have to put it ?

Hello Joselyn! Thanks for your question. It would be difficult to incorporate a corsera course in your residency CV. Only put this course down if it's absolutely relevant to your growth as a physician and a specialist. Has this course significantly affected your journey to residency? If so, you can add a section to your CV like "Additional Courses" or "Additional Training".

I thought CV would be generated by MyEras? Am I missing any information?

Hi, thank you for your question. You are right that MyEras and CaRMS generate a CV for the programs to which you are applying. However, it is in your best interest to create your CV before you fill out that information in ERAS or CaRMS. This way, you will know precisely how to fill out the application, you'll have all the years and details ready to go, instead of rummaging for that information while you are filling out your ERAS.
