  • Ras Lojuron Jaden: Sometimes we cover our hair, not just as a fashionable thing, but to protect it from dust.
We also cover it as a way of separating ourselves from others involved in things we do not subscribe to such as drugs and alcohol

Dreadlocks have been worn by the monks of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Rastafarians are the smartest group of people, they know what they're doing. They're the chosen ones

While I truly admire the commitment of you guys to see the light of TRUTH, I really would like all Rastafarian Bredrens and Sistrens to take a more enlightened and analytical approach in formulating their belief. Many Rastafarians have seized certain aspects of the life and teaching of His Imperial Majesty (HIM) Emperor Haile Selassie I and have built their theology of RASTAFARI upon their chosen aspects. And there is nothing ideally wrong with such an approach because "an elephant has many parts". HIM's pronouncements about the Bible are some of the most frequent references used by many Rastafarians in their attempt to rationalize their commitment to RASTAFARI. The predominance of such an attitude is made even more compelling by Jacob (Killer) Miller's song CHAPTER A DAY. Other Rastafarians, however, have focused their attention on HIM's admonition on the importance of adopting an ENLIGHTENED approach to life (as opposed to a barely educated approach) and have come away with a completely different view on the Bible and on the idolatrous doctrine that Haile Selassie is GOD. It should never be overlooked that HIM made his comments on the Bible during an interview with certain top-notch Christian leaders and that the context of the interview required a certain degree of politeness. It is important to note, too, that HIM was educated by Jesuit missionaries for whom the Bible holds an unquestionable preeminence in literature. Everyone who has studied the origin of the Bible knows that the Old Testament was written by certain Jewish mystics in search of knowledge of GOD. On the other hand, the New Testament was written by a Greek megalomaniac and former Roman operative named Saul of Tarsus (a.k.a. Apostle Paul) who misappropriated the mission and brotherly message of the crucified Jewish leader named Jesus, but who Paul insisted was the Christ or Saviour of sinners. Of equal importance is the fact that the Bible was selectively compiled and manipulated by Roman Catholic Church Fathers like Pope Gregory, and by European monarchs like King James (of the Guy Fawkes era) with a particular agenda in mind. This much has been acknowledged by one of the brothers in this video in his comment on the book of Enoch. Much more could be said to help in removing the wool from the eyes of Rastafarians and others who have been duped into accepting the Bible as God's word. However, time and space do not permit it. Meanwhile, before the notion of HIM as GOD could ever begin to make any sense, the concept of GOD must be thoroughly analyzed, clarified, and formulated. Such a task should not be as difficult as might appear at first sight, however, since HIM has clearly deplored the notion of anyone propagating the view that he is GOD. RASTAFARI (the Rastafarian Movement) is indeed a force to be reckoned with but if the Movement is not guided along an ENLIGHTENED PATH it could easily be derailed and the world would definitely be worse off for such a loss. (Adapted from another comment).

If you like wearing a suit and speaking English. Ask yourself who taught you that? And is the system continuing to give incentives to those who wear suits and speak English.
In regard Fari and education. Our King H.I.M is a highly educated man. We all aspire to have some of his educational qualities, even the bald heads want some of it. Don’t be fooled by propaganda. Jah live🙏🏾

I’m surprised that none of these Kenyan Rastafarians could explain the meaning or the genesis of the word Ras Tafari apart from the lady whom I think is from Jamaican. Hawa wote ni watu wa bangi.
