Japan Diaries | Falling in love with Kyoto, exploring cute cafés, bike riding

This is our trip to Kyoto in May 2023!
I fell in love with Kyoto on our trip this year. It's got everything - the good food, cafés, the old traditional buildings, greeneries and nature. Definitely one of my favourite cities I have ever visited. Hope you guys enjoy as much as I did when I was putting this video together x
This is a list of my favourite restaurants in Kyoto (some aren't mentioned in the vlog but I LOVE 😋):
1. Gyukatsu Kyotokatsugyu (Deep fried beef / if you only pick one thing from this list, this is it! My personal favourite meal of the entire trip)
2. Yamamoto Menzou (Tempura udon / hands down the best tempura udon I have ever tasted, I recommend chicken and burdock hot udon, they only take bookings on the day)
3. Mensho Takamatsu (Dipping ramen / mentioned in vlog, really tasty broth, Sam's favourite meal of our trip)
4. Blue Bottle (aesthetic cafe, good for pics)
5. Weekenders Coffee Roastery (I recommend their 'geisha' beans)
6. Clamp Coffee Sarasa (cute cafe, I recommend the bacon and egg toast)
7. Masuya (cheap and yummy omurice, close to Weekenders Coffee)
