For a quick holiday, I had planned to explore the jungles in west singbhum district of Jharkhand along with Jungles of Odisha. During my planning, I got to know about Tensa Nature Camp. It is a property owned by Odisha Forest Department. Tensa is a hill station in Odisha. Situated in Sundargarh district, Tensa has an altitude of 818 metres above sea level. Tensa is known for the Iron ore Mines, that's why one can find the red roads. The hill areas has naturally grown forest. In such a location Tensa Nature Camp is made by the forest department. Tourists who love nature and want to spend some time in solitude can visit this place and spend a night. Tensa offers great scenic view and a calm atmosphere. The jungle outside the nature camp also has wildlife.

How to reach: There are multiple options to reach Tensa. Best is to board Howrah-Barbil Jana Shatabdi Express and come to Barbil. Tensa is situated at a distance of 50 KMs from Barbil. Tensa can also be reached from Manoharpur by Samaleshwari Express. The distance between Manoharpur to Tensa is 100 KMs.
