Stone Letter is a single by the American experimental rock supergroup Tomahawk.
Tomahawk formed in 2000 when Fantômas, ex-Mr. Bungle and Faith No More singer/keyboardist Mike Patton and ex-The Jesus Lizard guitar player Duane Denison started swapping tapes with the intention of collaborating. Denison then recruited ex-Helmet drummer John Stanier, while Mike Patton recruited Melvins/Cows bass player Kevin Rutmanis into the group.
The song was released on vinyl and as a digital download on November 23, 2012. The song featured on Tomahawk's album Oddfellows (2012).
On December 3, 2012 the band released the music video for the song online, directed by Vincent Forcier. It is the band's first official music video from this album.
