    I can't help but chuckle at all of the poor reviews for many of the tomahawks sold online. So many of the reviews are from individuals that simply don't realize that a tomahawk head is MEANT to come off.

      It's supposed to come off when I want to remove it, not on its own ...

    Great video! People buy CRKT T-HAWKs and don't understand you may have to do this! Not every one comes perfectly fitted!

      You can tighten up the heads by soaking the handle with pure raw linseed oil. You can also fit the head like this gentleman is telling you, then soak the handle and you will get an awesome fit.

    You might also round the top edges of the eye before doing this, so the eye of the axe head doesn't start cutting into the wood and making it mushroom as bad.
    Overall though, great advise for fitting an axe head, regardless of a friction fit or standard fittings.

    What about cutting a slot, and fitting a wooden wedge, just like a normal hatchet head,??

    Any tip on removing the head of the tomahawk from the handle, i have tried everything it wont come loose.

      cut the handle, throw it in a vice and drill/chisel the wood out
