This song is more pertinent now than ever. Mankind can achieve peace if he/she were to look to understanding themselves instead of having to worry about were they are going to get their next meal and things of such that are necessities of life, when the energy should be directed at becoming better through understanding of self, (Mind, Body & Spirit). Everyone has the capacity to contribute to World Peace. Etc. Etc. Etc. We are one family believe it or not, not sure if you knew that?
I first discovered this song through Rita Marley’s later version, thinking this was a song by her. Bob was an infinite source of beautiful melodies and ideas, from the beginning to the end.. the only limit for him has been the musical equipment. What a fascinating artist and human he was.
