I picked up the 1.0 Litre Turbo Petrol and that is a Beast compared to everything else on the road. Seriously no Regrets. Automatic is Truly Amazing. You got to drive it to Experience the Drive, seriously amazing drive.

No virtus and slavia are not even in the league of octavia, superb in terms of build quality, suspension , braking , stability . I have a slavia 1.5 tsi dsg and have driven a superb 2.0 tsi today at a used car dealership and i can say no amount of remap can match the superb . Its simply on another level and the pull from 2.0 tsi even after 120kmph is so superior than my slavia 1.5 tsi. Ea888 gen 3b on superb/octavia can be tuned to 240bhp and 400nm of torque which makes them as powerful as a 330i from 100-200 .
@@kiranreddy7869 Not even close, hp don’t always matter, a 240hp and 400nm superb could never even match a VRS, let alone a 330i, due to it being a heavy and a less aerodynamic sedan. Power to weight ratio counts in the end, nothing else. Virtus at 190hp will have 149 hp/tonne, which would make it seriously a fast car. Whatever you’ve told about the suspension, braking, ride quality is right, even DQ381 in superb is the better GB compared to DQ200 in virtus, but a tuned virtus will beat a stock Superb/Octavia any day, having identical power and being way lighter. EA888 gen3A are fantastic engines to tune as they’re low compression engines, wherein EA888 3B are pointless to tune as they’re high compression. The numbers may look high on paper but on road they’re not even close to the engines like the 1.8 TSI or 2.0 TSI in terms of tuning potential. My tuned Octavia TDI managed to beat a Stage1 Superb from APR, so I don’t consider that car a behemoth.
