Didn’t know what WOD was till I watched Royal Family. They have been the only group that has made it internationally and have tours, get booked for gigs etc, now that’s winning GOLD
the amount of time they put in really did pay off. there aint one other dance group who placed, who gets to dance with celebrities the way royal family is now doing just proves that the more hours you put in the better you will get
I remember this competition, all the crews were great but it shows how judging is a lot like most competitions and it can go based on the style or preference of the judges. Korean while good to me is that same old style we have seen for years, I personally thought the other 2 were better but thats how it goes. Still deserving.
2 1/2 years later I still think they got robbed that year. My respects to the Koreans but Sorority's performance and Royal Family's performance were way too good.
It's important to show character even when you have established your excellence in talent. I love The Palace. This whole experience can teach the world what true champions are made of. congratulations!!!! on all success.

A very inspiring series. Watched all the videos. Felt really bad in the end. Royal Family, and the younger crews Bubblegum, Sorority and Duchess are still a winner in my eyes. Huge respect to all of them for being together and working hard till the end to be the Best in the world.

Imo their semi were definitely better than their finals but their final set was honestly gold worthy but with close inspection they messed up quite a bit in the finals. Lock n Lol were incredibly precise with everything so honestly it came down to the judges preference and cleanliness of the choreo. I also feel as though their semi score should have been put higher since it was near flawless so I think the judges overrated lock n lol but for finals its clear why they got gold
From my honest point of view, HHI 2015 was completely robbed. Like WTF? Royal Family's performance was amazing. Lock N Lol is pure shit, nothing we haven't seen. But RF brought fire and so did Sorority, Duchesses and Bubblegum. RF, Sorority and Bubblegum deserved 1st and Duchesses maybe 2nd or 3rd. Well, it's been almost 3 years and there's nothing to do now but we can say they got everything. Maybe they didn't get a medal but the crowd was with them. If it wasn't for RF, HHI wouldn't be the same, that's a fact that no one can deny. I'm looking forward to see Bubblegum this year cause The Palace can't bring any other crew anymore cause they're not giving deserved medals to them.
