My grandmother used have a whole collection of dolls from around the world and there's one particular one that was one of my favorite as a child. She also made porcelain dolls for me my sister and cousins until we got married. Well, I kind of got a new one every year because I was the only one who is still single. Now she's in her 90s and has not made anymore dolls but I still have some of the ones she made. When my grandfather died, she had to downsize and had to give give her dolls up. I was hoping that she would give me the one I really wanted in her collection but one of my aunts beat me to it. I can't find another doll like that one if there ever was one, they are expensive. She would have loved a reborn baby and since she made porcelain dolls, she would have probably got into making reborns as well.
