  • I got the stop lamp relay wrong...pin 30 and 87a are the ones that are in series when the coil is not energized....not 87 and 87a. Confirm with a multimeter!
I started with a 2003 GMC Yukon harness and heavily modified it so it fits in this 1990 Jaguar XJ-S. There are lots of ways to do this that take less time and effort. You can get brand new swap harnesses on ebay but I enjoyed the challenge of getting this truck harness to work in a car where the PCM is in a different location.

There's something oddly satisfying watching some who knows what they're doing and knowing you'd do it in exactly the same way.

Wow! Anyone that can take on a project like that has to have a lot of patience. Nice job. When I was watching at the beginning, I said to myself, no way. At the end, I was very impressed. Congrats!

That engine looks like it belongs there. As I spend hours and dollars trying to get my V-12 working right, this video sure gets me thinking.

I’m running at 5.7 TPI Eng. with a 700r4 in my 86 XJSC best decision I every made was dumping the Fire 🔥 prone locked up v12. I used John’s conversion kit without issue. Great driving cars happy to see the in the road instead of rotting away 👍

I know practically nothing about what you are doing but I watched this whole video because I found it interesting. Great project you have embarked upon and I can't wait to see this when it's done. You have mad skill.
    Cheers!

Dang! that's some impressive work. Will be interesting to see the final results and they'll most likely be just as impressive. Lot's of work, time and patience going on here, determination is definitely in your repertoire. Good luck going forward.

Have you recorded on paper how you’ve designed the harness and all the new connections? Just so someone in the future knows how things are set up. Are you ever going to sell this car? )

So he would have to plug it in to burn mostly gas and coal, some nuclear, and a tiny amount of greenish red china wind and solar? No. Just burn the gas directly. Actually greener.
