Hey I'm the guy from Reddit that made the post about my OPZ pitch bend that you responded to. Just want to say thank you so much for putting in the time to film this.

@@jeacunag I just did this fix two weeks ago and it worked fine and smooth in the beginning - now after two weeks I have to press again harder to reach the full range in both direction - do you experience the same? I guess TE has really #$%^& up the OP-Z in every regards to the hardware. EUR 20 and you can use it for another 2 weeks normally and then after some weeks you have to buy from them again and have to open and repair your #$%*& OP-Z - TE is a #$%^&^%$ hippster company.

Just got one brand new - bent out of the box with (ironically) no pitch bend. "Perfectly normal" for a $600 product, right?
I guess the Op-z suffers from all kinds of bend-gates... I hope you can claim warranty or return yours.

My new bought OP-Z has the same problem- pitch does not work at all. How can you produce such a shit?!
By the way in the EU, such a defect is covered by the warranty and have to be repaired/replaced free of charge (this also applies up to two years after purchase) !
The guarantee is valid for a period of two years throughout the EU. But certain conditions apply. The statutory warranty covers all defects that are suspected to exist at the time of delivery and that become apparent within a period of two years.

Glad to help. Yes, I wrote an email to teenage engineering support, you can request them to mail the part to your location.

I just emailed them myself for the same issue hopefully they can send the part. were you able to fix it yourself? Did te send you the part?
@@musicbyethanYes, they reacted really fast in my case and sent me the part for I think around 10€. Can’t remember exactly. Repairing it was no problem at all, just be sure to use the right tools, take your time and it will be fine 👍🏻
