Aww I’m so bummed this entire episode was about signs and love. With Buck and Eddie having such a bad luck with love I was kinda hoping by the end of the episode with Bucks and Eddie’s misfortune is going to lead up to them only and just hey there’s a sign if it meant to be is meant to be. It's just bad writing and it makes no sense. Introducing a character near the end of the season for Buck to date, and then he just kinda ruins it? They re-introduce a random character from a call that was hardly memorable, and now she's Eddie's real one true love? It doesn't make any sense. I don't even CARE if they don't make Buck and Eddie a couple, I just want some good writing. It's frustrating. It almost feels as though these characters are introduced solely for us to forget about their shipping - and I get it. I get they don't want to make it happen. But at least stop writing them so poorly! It's not just about who they date though. They have cut back on Buck and Eddie's friendship quite a lot. We rarely see them talking to each other anymore, they just exist near the other. These are the same two characters that have saved each other's lives, supported each other during their darkest moments, and Buck even has Chris' guardianship in case something happens to Eddie. So why do they not talk anymore? To give the shippers less material? I don't care about them together anymore. It's not gonna happen, and I've always felt that way. But I want JUSTICE to be done by their characters. Any decision that carries a modicum of sense would be highly appreciated, not these half-assed love interests that stay for an episode or two, never to be seen again. It's so bad

The showrunner for 911 is just awful. The writers have to write what they're told, as far as the general storyline goes, so I can't blame them. But the show itself is all over the place. Incredibly poor planning, pacing, character growth etc. They introduce new love interests for two of the main characters in the last couple of episodes of the season? And Marisol is a particularly laughable choice. Half of the audience didn't remember her and the half that did thought she was in love with her brother. And we're supposed to root for this relationship?
