You should also consider international geopolitics. America is not in favour of indias rise. This is a legacy issue. World looks at us with religious eyes. We are Hindus and no one in the world want we Hindus to rise. S jaishankar is in uk 🇬🇧 right now and journalist there had problems with the rise of majoritism in India. We Indians should learn to stand with our government and people.

At least we have started the process.
You can't simply start the manufacturing at large scale.
Business always grow on the reverse piramid structure
      For example
Adani first started the construction company. Then he started selling cement on a large scale, Then he bought the cement companies,
Now he is the largest cement manufacturers in India

Indian govt should promote small manufacturing plants by providing easy loans and support. Such as good shoes, garment, LEDs, and thousands of small products that we import it will provide employment to locals and also save the pocket money of people resulting in saving that ultimately boost banking system.

Mobile manufacturing was practically not there. almost 98 percent mobile phones that we used were imported. In a short time space of nine years. Our PM Modi's vision of Digital India, Make in India & start up India this bouquet of programs has established India as a trusted value chain partner. Practically every big electronics manufacturer is setting up its design in India and I am very happy to share that Google has announced the manufacturing of Pixel smartphones in India. India cannot be a manufacturing power house without sufficient infrastructure push. The dedicated freight corridor, the expressway, metros, ports, airports, bullet train, and few cities, are all under construction and are estimated to be completed by 2026. China already had all of this before becoming a power house. Manufacturing will come to Indian only if sending good out of Indian after manufacturing is faster.

All we are doing is just assembling the pieces of Chinese parts
If we have to succeed in manufacturing we have to start from base production for eg API manufacturing for pharmaceutical products
I hope government will gonna do something

We need to have patience. A lot of critical infrastructure projects will be ready by 2028, reducing logistic costs. Hopefully, labor reform will be passed after the 2024 elections, provided the BJP retains power. The various industry-specific parks is coming onstream ( textile, toy, base drugs, electronics, etc). Competition among states is good - winners are Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, Haryana and UP). The other states are laggards. There is a need to build vocational institutes to train the skilled labor force to work in these factories if India wants to climb up the value chain. One area where China, Taiwan, Korea, and Vietnam have a big advantage.
