If you make the twin run away, it’ll be like an Easter egg for people using your save file. They’ll click the relationships panel and see that the twin is related to the family. Maybe you could make them hate their family and then it’ll be like hidden lore!

The storyline is giving Sabrina the Teenage Witch meets Harry Potter 🤌🏼 The aunt’s description made me think of a cross between Bellatrix Lestrange and Nymphadora Tonks. Loved the whole build 💛✨

Storyline with Jess is almost like a Let's Play. And I do that book title thing with my Sims, too! It's especially fun if you're playing a legacy family.

Yay, something I can weigh in on. I’m a mom of twins, and throughout my own journey I’ve learned that identical twins are completely random, but fraternal twins (the kind I have) can run in families, though only in the maternal line. Dad’s genes have nothing to do with twins either way, other than potentially passing down the gene to a daughter. Neat, right? Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming. Another wonderful build. Great job! ❤️
Interesting, my father and my aunt are twins and I always loved the idea of having some so it would be pretty sick if I did have twins
My mom's cousin had a twin and his granddaughters are also twins, not fraternal though^^

My dad has younger twin sisters so does that mean I have a higher chance of having twins? I’d love to have twins even though they’d probably be a handful 😂
@@tiare397 Assuming they’re fraternal, yes! 🤗 Your dad may have inherited a gene from his mother which could then have been passed on to you, in which case your chances of conceiving twins would be higher than the average person.

I loved this video, so fun hearing about your storylines! I think it would be neat if the teenagers twin ran away because they didn't want to live as a spellcaster so they basically pretend to be a human sim.

The details in this are incredible. My favorite build of yours is that massive incredible Japanese farmhouse. But this is second because the details! The spellbooks and the custom candles! You’re incredible. And I always adore your storylines and how deep you get into them!!

So excited to play in this house because I have a spellcaster and a werewolf that are expecting their first child :)
for the aunt if maker doesn’t work you could give her the potions aspiration which gives you a spot to give her the flirty trait. also if you could it’d be so amazing if you could give a description of the family’s storyline when you upload your save like i wanna know what’s the third trait you’d give the teen i just love all your storylines they’re really creative and they make me excited to play your save!
First of all: did you read my mind? I literally build a family just like that, so this house is perfect! xD it's really great, when things just work out like that :D
also, build idea: you could maybe build a seasons festival like in the sims 3, with highschool years and eco lifestyle. you could use that lot from eco lifestyle to make every lot a seasons related festival, maybe with more of a "small city vibe" like brindleton bay. I think a fall festival with the spooky ride and pumpkins all over would look so cute there. We have actually a lot of objects, that could go into the differnet festivals like the ice skating rink, the love ride, all the different food stands etc. maybe there could also be a stage and in sommer time there are concerts, in spring maybe an outside cinema, in winter a christmas play... there are endless possibilitys! Maybe there could be a hedge maze and in each season there is something else in the middle. Maybe for example you could get married there in spring.
I tried to build it myself, but I am not really happy with the endresults. I just think, you could do it SO much better and I would love to see, what you can come up with.

Wanting to run away from magic, being so under pressure to be a perfect spellcaster. I like this choice better 😉
for the teen twin i like the idea of them being a runaway, maybe they ran away to the vampire world and helps vampires with their vampire business and kinda lives off of that (etc doing their dirty business, making potions for them, crafting those cocktails that allow vampires to walk in the sun...). a witch thats on the vampires side - what a scandal in the sims lore

Whenever I build houses inspired by ones in pictures, it never comes out as nice as it is on the picture but for you it's the opposite 😅your builds look so much better than the inspiration! I love this build so much, the details are crazy and the whole vibe of the spellcaster cottage and sisters + daughter is so perfect for it! Loved hearing you talk about this one ❤

Jessica, I LOVE your autumn home that's on the gallery already, I think you made it when the Magic expansion came out.. I would love an update or new version of this with new pack content! For example Cottage Living added a lot of stuff that would fit well into an autumn home!
Props to you on all of the clutter and decoration in this build! I go crazy after spending 5 min on clutter objects, but you really go all out and make it look great. Cute build!

I really like the idea of the twin dying in a duel/ from spell caster over charge. I think it adds character to them while not making them an outright villain.
I love this build! I also really like the idea of the twin running away for gameplay.. having a duel between the twins would be fun

i cant remember who but someone made like a word doc of all the lots theyve completed in each world (with a picture) for their save file to kinda track it but also show to the ppl how much % its completed and if ur up to it i think it could be a cool idea to do plus itll rlly put into scale how much youve already done, progressed and achieved
This is actuqlly perfect for my current save. Ive been thinking about moving my spellcaster to glimmerbrook into a nice cottage now that their ready to expand the family. I was considering a delapidated or abandoned house though.
My story is that theres my main sim - Clay Rutherfood whos from an ancient spellcaster bloodline. He was cursed to have everyone hate him whilst on a quest to learn all the spells and potions. He was also an aspiring actor (mind you these are all traits provided by the CAS story creator). So everyone hated them for a while until they found the curse remiver potion. They are now a level 10 actor and 4 star celeb. However hes been through multiple partnerships and has struggled to commit due to his job, spellcasting abilities and finally the curse. He's very self assured too and comes across quite rude. Just recently he moved in with the Evil Witch of Strangerville (lilsimsy save) who had 4 cats. Shes currently pregnant and theyve moved in together with her cats. She had to get 2 of them adopted because they couldnt handle 4 cats as well as children.
P.S. Clay is non-binary he/they. He was also in a relationship with Simeon Silversweater. He has recently just ended a fling with Judith Ward before finally commiting to Agnes.
So I'm in the market for a new house and this one could be perfect. I also hope that if anyone reads this they enjoy my characters as much as I do.

You should use cheats to add the traits from the aspirations! They don't take up extra slots. You could make these sims almost exactly like you described 😁😁😁

Idea for the "friends with mermaids" bit: The teenager was trying to perform water magic and accidentally summoned a mermaid, in fishy form. The were both a little bit freaked out by it and just sort of bonded and became friends afterwards.

I want to build a fantasy magic cottage like this so bad. I have the base game, cottage living, and cats and dogs. To get a lot of the magic items here like the crescent moon mirror, brooms, the rugs etc, should I get the realm of magic, paranormal stuff, or werewolves? I'm still new to the game and I'm still learning where everything is but I'm trying to avoid buying too many packs because Idon't want to get carried away with it. Also, I found your channel today and your builds are GORGEOUS. Like seriously. I have no idea how on earth you're doing any of it but holy smokes. Idk what the red shelf does or how you float clutter before putting it on a table but yeah. And your stories are so intricate!

Whether it's identical twins or fraternal twins, they generally do run in families (unless it's being brought about through IVF), and it can also skip a generation :-)

Another idea could be that the twin didn’t like being a part of the spellcasting world and decided to go no contact with the family because they wanted to be “normal”.. never practice magic or anything, and then maybe later there can be something that happens to each person in the family when they reach a certain age and that will force the twin to return to this family and they end up having a beautiful reunion.💖

there are mods that add more trait slots to sims, I think the one I have adds 1 extra to any child sorta-age, 2 extra to any teen-adult, and I haven't seen how many it adds to elderly's cuz I haven't made a grandma with it installed yet- Just wanted to point it out since you did want the auntie to be top tier personality lol
I think if you should have her with the flirty trait and then the potion aspiration because that aspiration gives you the collector trait which is related to potions :)

I think the twin is gonna be with their dad who is human. Like the other twin is more human and doesn’t show any visible magical powers while the twin who is staying with the mom, aunt and possible grandmother has shown magical powers at a young age. They decided it was best to separate the girls at a young age to raise them better.
Have the teen fall for a vamp and that's why the ran away!

Dad disappeared with the mystery twin (fill in interesting story here), and later passed from a spell gone wrong, or a bad potion. The mystery twin blames her magic side of family and spurns all things magic.

Love the build, but am wondering about the T.O.O.L. functions you so much. Are they part of base game and, if so, how does ones access them? If they are 3rd party add-ons, where does one find them and install them? I am attempting my first build on a small lot in a base game neighborhood, it's a very simple house, just a basic rectangle, and yet can't get base game build tools to do what I need them to do, sigh. It's very frustrating and I'm hoping you can give me, and others, some tips. Also, how did you get a 9.9 million Simoleans budget to work with? I was able to use a cheat and get 1 mil Simoleans, but took quit a bit of time...am I missing a cheat you can share?

I know this is late, but i imagine the father died from magic overload after having an intense spell battle, whether he won or not i dont know, but that’s just what i think of
What if the teen is a super strong spellcaster because they absorbed their twin in the womb so they have the power of 2 sims but struggles with a sense of self
