Maybe! But I would rather have a president who is 100% functional only 50% of the day than one who is 100% determined to save is ego by bringing down 100% of the system (Globally)
Anyone debating if Trump or Biden is better at this point is not looking at the situation like this, and can't be convinced of this, because they don't see the threat which is Trump. Everyone pushing Biden to continue is failing to put themselves in the shoes of the swing voter. Many of us would rather vote for a corpse than Trump, but most of our votes don't really matter right now, especially mine in California where Biden could be dead and he will still win.
yeah trump sure did terrorize the world by keeping china, russia, and iran in check and preventing their aggression towards other countries. meanwhile under Biden, the afghanistan withdrawal was the best withdrawal ever (Hail BIden!) and no wars were started (neither ukraine, israel, nor taiwan exist, so obviously there couldnt be wars/conflicts involving them). so obviously Biden is the better Supreme Leader. and a very smart one at that! Ben Franklin would be jealous of our HIghness' smarts, of which there is no equal.

Damn, Major Garrett is one of the best journalists around. These are all fair questions and no emotions can are leading either the interview subject, or the audience. I'm really grateful to CBS for hiring him, especially as he comes from a Fox background when it had some balance in it rather than 24 hour streaming of the same format shitshow.

I traveled to China for a few weeks in my mid sixties. When I returned, for at least 10 days, I would hit a wall in the early evening after which I felt like I’d had a few drinks too many.

The adrenaline of the debate would wake you up though. I have been doing long haul four times a year for eight years and crossed eigh time zones each time . First 24 hours you can’t fight it but after that you can be normal when you need to show up, especially if you nap beforehand. 12 days out you are basically over it. I am 72.

Im trying to give Biden the benefit of the doubt. I’ve been quite sick and I’ve noticed it gets a lot worse in the evening. Combined with stress and the pressure he must be under debating a man he hates, I can see how it would throw him off. I would like a cognitive test for both Trump and Biden considering their ages. Both are old and both have a history of saying crazy stuff. They should be treated equally.

The then governor of NY claimed to have discussed such a strategy with Fauci, but now that Fauci's e-mails are public, no record of such a conversation exists.
And in fact, a review of the CDC guidance in place at the time then Governor Cuomo rolled out _his_ policy shows that it was not aligned with CDC guidance.
The CDC's guidance was to discharge COVID patients to long-term care facilities only when they were ready (i.e., sufficiently recovered), and only to long-term care facilities equipped to care for recovering COVID patients by implementing the necessary infection control procedures. That is a far cry from saying that "covid [sic] patients should be sent to nursing homes."
Anyone can sound eloquent as Trump did in the debate when you don't hwve to concern yourself with telling the truth.

We don't know that. But we do know that public speaking has never been Biden's strong suit. Not being a good public speaker is not a predictor of whether you will make good policy decisions or not.
