Can’t wait for a John Williams documentary or movie, he totally deserves it! Now the question is: Will Williams score the film himself?
I was just about to ask the same question haha..... probably Mr Zimmer will score the documentary
@@upsidedown8512 I mean we know now Williams announced last he’s not retiring So anything’s possible!
I mean, it would be a weird choice to use original music in a documentary about a composer, especially if that very same composer was the composer. That's Inception levels of layers, at which point we'd need Hans Zimmer.
@@upsidedown8512 lets hope not. The documentary should be just about JWs music. No additional music needed
I hope they bring in lots of composers to score it
Make John Williams write, produce, and direct his pseudo-autobiopic, and have Steven Spielberg compose the score.
Terrible 😔
@@Marinatina2 come one, how come? Although I find questionable on Spielberg’s music skills
That's funny 😂
outstanding post
They would both agree that would suck.
I like how he said "Except for the sequels."
To be honest his sequels still attempted to do something different he never did the exact same thing, Temple of Doom is a vastly different movie to Raiders but Last Crusade although very similar to Raiders told a different story about father and son which successfully ended the series and no other films were made after that…
@@artofsam temple of doom, was george idea, it was less personal for steven, and he is right, from indiana to e.t, to schindler listnor jurassic park they all are attempting something diferent but they all got steven's soul in a way
“I’d go into radio”
😂😂😂😂
I hope that documentary doesn’t skip the part when John lost his wife in 1974 and, since then, forever changed his composition style. Having used music as an vessel to crawl out of the painful loss of someone he loved, might help many people that have suffered from grief like he did. I remember once seeing John conduct ET’s piece at a concert and, when it finished, he was in tears. Nobody could have written such powerful music without knowing the chords that reflect a painful, forever goodbye.
Reading that papi just reduced me to a blubbering mess
@@riverplate0101 Stop lyin’, SON. . .
Jesus
If Spielberg wanted to make a biopic, it should be George Lucas. It’s an interesting story: a shy quiet man who survived a car accident makes one of the greatest sci fi films of all time.
And the dual story of how Marcia Lucas saved the day numerous times.
*Six of the greatest sci-fi/fantasy films of all time.
@@rafaelc.c. Shhhhhh....
@@rafaelc.c.be so fr only 2 of them are any good lmaoooo
From ET to Jurassic Park to Saving Private Ryan to Ready Player One. This guys awesome
@Stephanie Slayer bruh what? source?
@Stephanie Slayer i’m asking you where you got that information from
@compsciguy HOW DARE U SAY SUCH A THING!!!
@compsciguypeople like you make me sick…throw around wild bullshit accusations with zero evidence because you read one made up article somewhere…shame on you
@compsciguythat's not proof. Theories aren't facts and stop spreading misinformation
'The Fabelmans' is a great movie... I can't wait to see the documentary about John Williams.
Nice scarf, Stevie. 😊
If anyone’s wondering, the background music is Allegro Burlesco by Kuhlau
I really do love Spielberg's recent work, but, in the vein of his wanting to stay fresh & not always repeat genres etc, it'd be great to see him get back to the gritty action/adventure/thriller movies of his early days. Maybe even another great creature feature or some genre hybrid.
Looking forward to that Documentary on John Williams.
I think that man has blessed us with great and different films that we will always remember 👊
GO FOR IT, sir!
I'm looking forward to that documentary movie to know the story of John Williams.
That great music composer's story deserves to be told with respect and known for all of us to understand his struggles for us to feel caring for him
as human beings and how he got to where he wanted, indeed.
I look forward to seeing some more of Spielberg's work.
Now that's what I call to-the-point-answer.
I had the same thinking about him.
He is my favorite director of what time
Yes I can’t wait to see it
Bless you steven!
I need a 12hr doc of John writing the ep3 soundtrack maybe throw some hook in their too! 🤩🎶🎹💖
I love you Steven!!
John Williams could compose. He's literally composed 29 out of his 34 movies. Only exceptions were Duel, The Color Purple, Bridge of Spies, Ready Player One & West Side Story. Biggest gap between any of these movies is 30 years. 😊
I want to see one on George, Lucas and Steven Spielberg together, and may be called the movie together or brothers or one man to another
Awesome!! Happy viewer here!
fantastic & a great question also. Thank you for asking because I definately want to watch that. John Williams is a master 👏👏👏
Can't wait to see the documentary!!!!
if a john williams movie was ever made, the score should be a huge mish-mash of all his older works. sounds weirdly fitting.
JOHN WILLIAMS DOCUMENTARY?!?! 😭👏🏼🔥
I hope they include Harry Warren’s name in John Williams biopic, because John borrowed heavily from Warren… listen closely to some of Warren’s compositions for The Californians tv show and there you will find pieces later found on the Jaws soundtrack.
ET phone phone Steven is the man❤😊
hans zimmer should do the score of the film or whoever is classed as the "successor" to williams
❤️
I learned a lot thanks
I hope he makes one more science fiction film 🎞️ set in the future!❤
Great Artist
I love him so much
Laurent Bouzereau is producing it.
That's gonna be insane
Documentary on Isaac Kappy ?
So glad that Williams decided to stay in the business. I was happy for him hearing that Indiana Jones would be his last film. But damn it, now I’m filled with joy
John Williams is 1 of the best film composers.
Spielberg feels like a genuine guy. Doesn't feel like he's acting.
Hard to believe that the guy who wrote the Lost In Space theme also wrote the music for E.T.
U helping me so much, I’m not gonna stop until u say , bring Jacolby to me now😂😂😂😂❤
I’ve never been more excited about a movie than a John Williams documentary by the only person that can do him justice
LET’S GO
You will be remembered for Jaws and Close Encounters maybe Duel, not the movies you're made in the last 15 years
That was a non-answer and a dig at radio lol
Ich habe lange nicht einen Film gesehen der mich so persönlich erreicht hat
In advance sorry to sound so corny but: perfect answer from a perfect entertainer.
Gen z: what's radio?
There’s not enough tragedy in a John Williams biopic - it’s just “I wrote all the most iconic music of the 20th century. You’re welcome.”
Thank you, Mr Williams.
didn’t his wife die which impacted his musical composition style significantly?
I believe the Solresol was your inspiration, Sir
Johnnie is 91 this year. Spielberg knows he needs to document his life - it’s now or never!
Jacques Vallee....it needs to be done.
I’d go into radio. Ugh!😔
This is totally awesome
Hey Grandpa, how about a new World War II movie with you and Tom Hanks involved?
Speils flexing making at the podcasters quake in their boots😅
Well he was going to direct the Leonard Bernstein biopic before giving it to Bradley Cooper and he’s still attached as EP alongside Martin Scorsese, so close enough?
He doesn’t want to make a biopic about John Williams but he made his own biopic 🤡
Damn…shots fired at George Lucas 😂 kidding!
Cundy (2027)
Jesus loves You
Dudes wearing a bathroom hand towel around his neck...rich guys...
Shalom
Radio like that is dead so its good your diverse
All your films, including schindlers list are the same.
But he has been making the same movies over and over lately, boring ones.
What a stupid idiotic statement
Whether they're boring or not is up to you, but Ready Player One, West Side Story, and The Fabelmans are all very different films.
who is John Williams ???
