Ya, i highly doubt Mcdonalds wants anything to do with a communist country. For the longest time anything even remotely to do with that country was extremely illegal.
McDonalds is an American company. It was founded in America. All profits go to an American family. It grew from America and it is seen as an American country all over. Cuba would not touch anything that smelled of American for decades, highly doubt they would invest in an American product.
