Mavic Air 2 drone crash in water. A small documentary of how my Mavic Air 2 drone fell into the water. Place: Waterfalls, Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
That was crazy thankfully and unbelievably it survive, your very lucky i just uploaded on my channel a video of a crash that i had but my crash is nothing compared with your crash. Greetings friend from DroneDays gr Greece 🇬🇷
@@DenisBosniaDV I was following a hydroplane staying about 15 feet above it. After about 5 minutes of the best footage I ever made. It looks like I bumped it down to into the lake as I was turning and yawing left in sports mode. My bro in law dove 40' down and retrieved it, 3 weeks later. Thank God for DJI refresh!
my dad crashed mine into the sea (mavic mini 2), 10 mins later I found it upside down in the waves, took battery out, washed it well in fresh water, kept it in rice for a week but unfortunately no luck ):
Beautiful location, Congrats on the save. Honestly though it feels a little weird when you call your drone "Your Hawk" IDK no judgement or offense but yeah feels a little dirty. 🤣🤣
Oh man hahaha, well, I live in place, below one hill where you can see hawks flying overhead everyday. So, that's why I say for my Mavic Air2 - Hawk ! :D
Yes, true. But it was on the opposite side, about 200 meters far from me. So I thaught (from my point of view) that I will crash to branch of tree (wrong sense for space), and then I move drone down to avoid the obstacle (wrong decision, I have turned on obstacle avoidance). It happens in matter of 2-3 seconds, when I saw the cable. It was too late.
sed@@DenisBosniaDV If the drone has been submerged it has been compromised even though it my work. It may fail later from corrosion ,its supposed to be sent in for going over or replacement. Mine was submerged for about 20 seconds but mine didn't work at all
@@michaelripple8371 as I said, I sent it to service, so they opened it and disassembled it to check and clean any dirt. Also, they cleaned contacts which could rust ...
Happy to see the Air 2 survived the plunge. Happy flying!!!! Greetings from the Philippines

OMG, GLAD IT WAS SAFE AND SOUND.
Thank you :D
I can't believe the video kept recording. I had a water crash and the video stopped before I hit the water. Got it out of the lake a month later.
Well, I have the evidence buddy ;)
What happened to your aircraft ?

Crash was interesting but the waterfall was beautiful.
WOW lucky you found it !
Yeah. Thank you bro.
Maybe you had it on sport mode on accident. In sport mode, there is no obstacle avoidance. Also, the thumbnail is a mavic mini. But nice video!!
No, it was in Normal mode, but obstacle avoidance can not detect cables, wires ...
Is this really Mini on thumb ? :) OMG
@@DenisBosniaDV oh you were on normal mode. Ok, thanks for the tip. I’ll be on the lookout whenever I’m flying near wires. Have a good one.
awesome place, too bad the crash happened
Lucky you 🙏
That's great news
Oh my gosh 😯

why would you do that, pilot error.

Did the cable snap up it kind of looked like it ?
@@michaelripple8371 as I said, I sent it to service, so they opened it and disassembled it to check and clean any dirt. Also, they cleaned contacts which could rust ...
@@michaelripple8371 no, the cable is too strong to snap. It just looked like it snap ...
