Never waste ceiling fans like this because they are useful to save money on the air conditioning bill

Do you need to shut the power off? Of the entire house?

No, ONLY. Shut off the breaker that the fans connected to
52” CEI ceiling fan, maybe a crest 4500 or bahama of sorts.. too bad it probably got canned after this…
