For those who want to farm Death for Exp, rift crystals for hired pawns, and his drops, pre-Daimon Bloodless Stockade is the best place, because he keeps respawning there everytime you enter/exit. The best vocation to do this is with is Magick Archer, and the best place to stay is the room with the chest where leapworms spawn. Death can't enter that room, which means he can't see you, which means battle won't initiate, which means he won't flee when he loses the equivalent of 1 health bar because he's busy trying to find you. Be aware, though, that his lantern will sometimes clip through the wall, which allows him to spot you, so make sure to keep a safe distance from it. It's quite simple, really. The room has a grater for you to shoot out of, and you just spam Ricochet Hunter when you see Death nearby. If you're on hard mode for the 2x bonus, I recommend equipping the Cursed King's Belt and 2 Barbed Nails (or 2 purified rings with knockdown if you have them) to make it easier to keep him on the floor. Enjoy cheesing him! Edit: Apparently Death *CAN* enter the room, so it's best to save right outside the sewers, then godsbane if you hear the music start. Also, if you're fast enough, you can get 3 uses out of a consumable weal item before its effect expires.
That doesn't sound simple at all really, except for the Ricochet Hunter part. A lot of people are gonna be spending most of their time farming for the Cursed King's Belt you get from Eliminators or Cursed Bitterblack Gears. And that's easier said then done since its entirely luck-based
It really is way easier to just lead him to that sewer drop off or near the bridge in the fallen city with bait or a lucky spawn and pressure him near the edge and build up a knock back by pelting him with strong stagger and knock back attacks like blink strike and tusk toss, fivefold flurry no blast arrows can easily do it. I kill him in a few min with any vocation that does physical damage, but things idk what knocks him back well with mage and sorcerer.
@@spencerwcp He doesn't flee this way, though, since he doesn't spot you and so doesn't enter battle mode. Plus, as I said, you get to keep his drops. The falling method only works if you're alone because Death is guaranteed to spawn right in front of you, but with pawns, his attention will be divided.

I'd assume it was. I haven't seen the clip myself but since Arc of Obliteration and Act of Vengeance are one of the most powerful Warrior skills in the game, I can see it
Actually, the only way a warrior can one shot death is by using Act of Vengeance. Since Act of Vengeance damage depends on how much damage you take while charging it, there is an exploit involving the Tenacity core skill and the spell Exequy. Exequy is an instant death spell, however, its survivable if you have the skill Tenacity (which has a chance of death blows leaving you at 1 hp instead of killing you). Even though it doesn't kill you because of tenacity, exequys instant death amount of damage gets translated into damage for Arc of Vengeance, allowing Arc of Vengeance to instantly kill anything you hit for that single attack. Luckily, every chest in the bitterblack isle has a chance of spawning a maneater (those worm things). Maneaters can cast exequy. So all you need is the luck to open a chest with a man eater while death is fighting you, and then to time arc of vengeance with the maneaters exequy hitting you just before you hit death with arc of vengeance, and also the luck for tenacity to proc and make you survive at 1 hp.
