This movie is pure perfection and doing this is a sin itself.
Agreed
My first tattoo was "shake and bake cal" on my leg
I can't add anything more perfect than that response.

Best line in the movie 😂😂

Hahaha YES! Friends and I quote this all the time whenever someone does something that pisses me off. I always say "Guess they weren't chewing Big Red". 🤣

I tend not to turn a blind eye if a movie I liked as a kid has big glaring problems. Because nostalgia isn't everything.
@@cjkalandek996ok
@cjkalandek996 not to mention that movie is objectively trash with a few chuckleable lines.
It was such a huge movie for my family growing up. We still make jokes about "the baybuh jeezus" to this day.

It's always fun to guess if Jeremy actually likes the movie he's sinning or not.
The pretentiousness is strong in this one
@@TheReal704Champ What makes you say that?
I think he hates this movie. My reason is that he says it a few times. Once directly and a few not directly.
He says he really dislikes this movie at 19 minutes in.
@@jameslunsford8069 I definitely heard him. He either directly says or strongly implies it for almost everything, though.
Talladega nights honestly one the best movies of all time lol

This is a man of culture right here!
Well, yeah...and Step Brothers too!
It's no Highlander
@@paladin677but, I mean... how many movies are the Highlander??? Lol
The deleted scene with Michael Clark Duncan singing the Donna summers song has to be my favorite scene in any comedy. I don’t care how many times I see it as soon as he breaks out into “…..last chance.. romance… for loooove” I stay crying laughing
It was an improvisation as well and they didn't keep the take because he broke the rest of the cast and the crew with it but the outtakes of that movie are hilarious. I like the Big Red endorsement.
If you haven't seen the Broken Lizard flick The Slammin' Salmon, I highly suggest checking it out. Michael Clark Duncan was off the chain in that movie, you could definitely tell he had fun making that one.
He crushed it in his roles, he was real fun in The Finder and had the great dramatic role in Green Mile. Was saddened by the news of his passing, wish we could've seen more of him. What was your favorite role he played as?
@@DirectorsChoice ahahah hahaha you thought you'd get a response... lmao bomb
rest in peace michael
The statement about only changing drivers if the original is sick or injured is incorrect. Dale Earnhardt Jr. once replaced Kyle Busch after a crash. Busch thought his car was beyond repair and left early. The car was repaired, and Earnhardt, who’s car was beyond repair, took over. He wasn’t even on the same team.
Lol I just picture him being like “well I’m already here and the race isn’t over. Someone get my helmet”
The kicker to that dale Jr would end up replacing Kyle after that which served as an unofficial tryout
Ya they have subbed in drivers all the time just to get them track time.
@@godsmackfan459 a further kicker is that the hatred by most fans of Kyle Busch started when he wrecked Junior at Richmond one year. Even more, Kyle Busch now drives for Dale Sr.'s car owner now.
All us Cinemasins NASCAR fans went, hold my beer for accuracy checks 😂
You should have removed at least 5 sins for the "I'm paralyzed" scene, especially with Michael Clarke Duncan's absolutely sublime comedic delivery. Also, can we talk about how incredible the cast is here? Outside of Ferrell and Cohen, there was Duncan, Amy Adams, John C. Reilly, Molly Shannon, Jane Lynch, Andy Richter, and of course Gary Cole.
Not taking away a sin for Gary Cole's delivery of "I got 2. Who needs 2?" @19:10 is the ultimate sin. 😂
I was waiting for that too!! When he immediately went to sell the tickets the first time we saw this movie, I spit out the food I was eating it was so unexpected!😂
Great scene. This movie genuinely had great moments
One of those comedy movies where everything is just cast absolutely perfectly. It's like a perfect storm where everyone makes eachother better.
2:13 Nope. In some instances teams will swap the driver even though the driver is fine. One of the most famous examples is when Aric Almirola was swapped for Denny Hamlin in a 2007 Xfinity race in Milwaukee Mile. Almirola qualified the car on pole and was supposed to hand over the drive to Hamlin for the race but Hamlin's helicopter (since he running a double duty racing on the Cup Series race in a different location) couldn't find a place to land so he couldn't make it on time. Almirola started the race and both Hamlin and the team wanted him to finish the race but the sponsor wanted Hamlin to drive so they decided to swap the driver.
You can also finish in reverse, upside down, and in the infield
Not taking a sin off for the late night phone call between Ricky and Cal is a sin
I couldn’t even get past two minutes of this video. Everything about this movie is great.
I would have removed a sin or more for the invisible fire scene, because it's my favorite part of the movie.
Same, I was waiting for a sin to be removed
Help me Oprah Winfrey, help me Tom Cruise!
Ironically methanol which is race fuel can burn invisible
How can you not love this movie?
Or when the 2 guys are chasing him at in the daytime and they start windmilling him using reverse psychology
"I watched the Highlander movie. It was shit!" I laugh every time at that.
My brother in law, took me to see this in theaters whilst he was dating my sister. Was such a good bonding experience for us, and we still quote this far too much 😂
Love ya Andrew!
Dope story!
My uncle was at Talladega when they were shooting the night scene with Ricky Bobby in his underwear for the first time. Apparently, it was a Saturday night race, and the people in the stands were legit Nascar fans who weren't told anything about why there would be a grown man running around the track in his underwear with a crew of people filming. It wasn't until the movie previews came out that my uncle realized what the filming was for.
There aren't any lights at Talladega, that looked like Charlotte in the movie or a similar track that has lights.
That was Charlotte motor speedway
@@John-cg8hb yes that was Charlotte, they did a lot of shooting at Talladega though. I was there when it was happening lol.

Wait, is this not how it has always been?
“I wake up every morning and I piss excellence” This movie is funny as fuck
We use this quote all the time!
Ricky Bobby: "If you're not first, your Last"
Me: Best quote for the first commenter 😅😅
This is the most outrageous video you’ve ever put out. This masterpiece is without sin.
I think with most movies, especially thriller/action (stuff that's supposed to be taken serious), CinemaSins is golden. For stuff like comedies, it's more just tiring hearing sarcastic comments that sound more degrading on a movie that isn't taking itself serious
He actually sounded pretty pretentious with this one
And of course the whole "you can't be in the cool kids club if you don't shit on NASCAR" thing
To be fair, they have mentioned in the past that the reason they don't do comedies much is that there are only so many ways to say something is not funny and how it's subjective.
@@nthgthNascar kinda sucks tho NGL
@@rocklebrun7538have you ever even been to a nascar race? That shit is so fun
17:26 those are sponsors of NASCAR that everyone wears, not Ricky’s. You can see the same ones on Cal moments later
That would be correct contingency sponsors. Minus Sparco, that's the suit manufacture.
Gary Cole always plays the best sleazebags.
But a darn good Mike Brady, too.
…yeah….
Yeah, I consider him to be the only good thing about this mediocre movie.
He was excellent on Veep.
@@danjonmills again, a bit of a sleazebag, while Carol Brady was -- oh, never mind, just realizing 'Tiger the dog' has more Wikipedia content than both characters combined.
For the "No corporate sponsors" sin. Ricky Bobby might not, but the series might since they're suppliers. So it might be an obligation for the drivers/teams to still display the sponsors because they use their products. Like from their suits, Goodyear tires, Sunoco Oil for the fuel, etc.
11:19 the "singular wasp" line genuinely made me laugh out loud
"Ima come at you like a spider monkey old man" is one of the greatest lines of any movie I don't care
I was a skinny ass white boy who joined the military right out of high school. Whenever my buddies would start joking around and give me crap, that was almost always my go-to line 😂
I’m all hyped up on Mountain Dew!!
Agree a thousand percent!!! Even my prim and proper mom in her 60s loves the scene with the kids at dinner!!
This is the most quoted movie in my life
To quote the late great colel Sanders I am too drunk to taste this chicken! Is not something to say to the cops if they pull you over and you try to be funny
Finding out that invisible fire is actually a hazard in motor racing due to the fuels used, should have been enough to remove a sin.
I love Talladega Nights! My coworker and me practically quote it all the time. It is HI-LARIOUS!
The fact you didn't give a sin off for Dr. Quinn and Medicine Woman line makes me sad.
The part where he says it feels like a bunch of SNL skits that would never leave the rehearsal room is the whole of Will Farrell's career and I am here for it!
Everything about this film is classic. Even Christopher Nolan said it was a "film if it's on he watches it'.
Rest in Peace Michael Clark Duncan
Amen
in referrence to 10:08, this is probably the most accurate part of the movie... motorsport contracts are a formality more than anything... Sergio Perez said that "F1 contracts are like toilet paper" and that sentiment goes for just about every form of motorsport there is...
"I'm Ricky Bobby, and if you don't chew big red, then fuck you!" Best line in the whole movie, would've removed a sin for that at least.
This is Will Ferrell greatest movie of all time....
He should do A Night At The Roxbury next.
No this is not wills best. It’s great but I promise dude is right. A night at the Roxbury
9:25 Jeremy singing an ear grating parody of Zombie deserves 1000 sins and a

SKKKKKKKIIIIIIIPPPPPP!
My thoughts exactly lol
I had to have watched this movie over 100 times when I was a teen. I went through a phase where I loved dumbass shit like this and it'll always hold a place near and dear to my heart! Also anchorman.
As far as a I know, most race series allow for a race to continue after a fatal accident. Driver Alan Simonson was in a fatal crash about 10 years ago at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, sometimes the race is cancelled. This happened when Dan Wheldon was in a fatal crash in the Indy car series
Everybody knew Las Vegas was too dangerous to run IndyCars on, except for the promoter of the event. The fact the field was larger than usual (only the 500 typically has more than 25 cars in it) also contributed to the danger that day.
Let's not forget a recent crash from 2019 in the F2 series at Spa. The spectators and F1 crews/drivers saw that tragic accident, yet they continued to drive for the race.
@@EdwinOnofre-GT_Eddy To be fair, that wreck did lead to the rest of that F2 race being cancelled.
@@JacobCraigo Ah, didn't realize the F2 race cancelled. F1 continued however, but they did do a tribute to Anthoine Hubert before the race.
If someone passes in that race, typically only if they’re pronounced as deceased at the track, the race will be stopped. I think there was an instance where a race went forward because the driver was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Forget which one it was, though
“You have to cut around the meat”
Underrated line, gets me every time 😂
I haven't watched this channel in years and this video confirmed it was a good choice
The “don’t wait for the translation! Answer me now!” from Undiscovered Country made me almost spit take. That was great. 😂
Amazing and I can’t stop laughing out loud every time cinemasins say that the movie is boring, how much he disliked the films ever, bring me so much enjoyment too.
I do not care how many sins were counted, I fricken love this movie! Absolute favorite of mine.
Using the knife to pry out the other knife is worth a couple sins off..
Love this movie. Love how people dress like Ricky at the races. The sport loves Ricky Bobby!
You missed two huge ones: (1) Girlfriend, who is supposed to be a neurosurgeon, goes riding with Cole without a helmet. She's a neurosurgeon. She fixes people who don't ride with a helmet. (2) race team has never heard of him despite multiple World of Outlaw championships.
If you're a multiple World of Oullaw champions the teams must known you even though you might never made it into the Cup Series
The Days of Thunder sins video is about a decade old now. Actually, that should get a re-sin, and I suggest calling in NASCAR CZcamsrs like s1apsh0es and Brock Beard. Actually, one sin that was missed here, and could be applied to Days of Thunder, is blatantly targeting another car over the radio before doing it. These days, NASCAR will park you before you get the chance. You have to be a bit sneakier about it, such as Matt Kenseth wrecking Joey Logano but not broadcasting his intentions.
I remember when these videos were funny. I also remember when they mostly pointed out actual movie mistakes. Oh well.
I met Molly Shannon in a CVS, I would share the picture if I could here. She is so chill, and down to earth. She deserves the world!! 🙏🏾🌹🙌🏾😂
I think one of the biggest sins of this movie is that an F1 driver could immediately drive a nascar. They’re completely different kinds of cars. Kimi Raikkonen wrecked in his first nascar race, (although it wasn’t his fault) and he had months of practice beforehand
The car riding companion list made me lose it😂
A singular wasp in the car would make me either smash it or get out of the car screaming.
But a caveman????
"...and a singular wasp!" I am fully with you!!
I live by the quote “If you ain’t first, you’re last.”
Bro you got as much understanding of NASCAR as Eric Cartman. 2:47
02:26. I take a sin off for the words "Shake 'N Bake bullshit." 😂🤣
The 1991 NASCAR Cup race at Watkins Glen is probably what you immediately came across. Driver JD McDuffie was killed in an accident on the Outer Loop turn early in the race. The race continued through the scheduled distance. (As a result, the Inner Loop chicane was created.) There have also been fatal wrecks during the Indy 500, and yet the race continued.
The most unbelievable part of that but is they had a massive crash involving every car but two and they got the track fully cleared within five laps.

This movie was a blessing given to us
I've had champagne once in my entire life and it was enough. You're absolutely right, it's made up of barely imbibable carbonated bubbles of bullshit 😂😂😂😂
This movie is excellent lol. Feels like you're taking the approach you should take to talk about the Fast & Furious franchise. Equally absurd, but actually takes itself seriously.
ok man with this fresh in your mind you have to do canonball run now
Everyone knows that "door hinge" rhymes with orange. Also, you know what rhymes with banana? Stamina. BOOM.
the worst parts of this movie:
A: Maintaining speed with another car while in reverse!
B: Shifting gears while at max speed at Talladega
Video sin: 2:36 NASCAR may not be very exciting to watch, however it is notoriously difficult. As described by multiple successful racers from other series that have tried to race in NASCAR.
Video sin: 3:01 There are way more than two magazines about racing available to the public.
I'm sorry, I don't care what anyone says, Nascar is a joke! One of my fav comments about Nascar comes from a cousin in law (who is a teacher, but also does Triathalons on a professional level): "Every morning I get up and drive around the city to go to work. Sometimes I go fast, sometimes I go slow. It is not a sport."
I think that sums it up perfectly! 😂
@@Klm49 Some pretty casual research will explain the sport’s unique difficulties and the skill required to compete, but I can see how’d you’d be ignorant to that because you don’t care what anyone says, except your cousin in law who goes out of his way to, run. I wouldn’t take advice about cars from someone who spits on Henry Ford and all of the other great pioneers by purposely going around on foot. That’s like getting burger recommendations from a vegetarian.
CinemaSins deserves at least 10 sins for not making a South Park “I’m not stupid enough to drive NASCAR” reference once
Right! We love this movie but could not care less about Nascar.
One of my fav comments about Nascar comes from my cousin in law who is a teacher, but also does Triathalons on a professional level: "Every morning I get up and drive around the city to go to work. Sometimes I go fast, sometimes I go slow. It is not a sport!"

"This may be dangerous and inconvenient but I do love Fig Newtons"
FOR YEARS I HAVE WAITED
When I used to look into cast interviews and commentaries I remember one of the things they mentioned that made this movie was because they knew a little about what happened in NASCAR and said it was about 50 percent and made up the rest to keep the comedy
Oh man, if you’re upset about them not stopping a race after a crash in NASCAR, just wait until you hear about the Isle Of Man TT
"Let me just quote the late great kernel sanders. He said, I'm too drunk to taste this chicken" will be on my grave stone

I love Elf just a tad more but this is a close second. Serpentine!!

A singular wasp is definitely my top most terrifying driving companion.
This has big "tell me you never watched NASCAR without telling me you havent watched NASCAR" energy.
The only sin here is sinning a perfect movie
I remember watching this when it came out when I was 10. Most of the jokes flew over my head 😂
But like Texas ranger screaming anarchy. I don't know what it means but I love it!
How is it that nobody in the comments noticed The Cranberries’ _Zombie_ reference?! 😂 It was perfect!
The moons in Lucky Charms haven’t been yellow in decades, so I can totally see how snorting them would fuck you up~
Even Chris Nolan mentioned this as a great film
I’ve been waiting for this moment forever
What makes ths movie comedy gold for me, is that is pisses off my best friend, who happens to be a huge NASCAR and Will Ferrell fan. 2 things he loves in a movie he hates. I'll sleep well tonight.
One of the funniest movies ever made. If you can't enjoy this gem, it's your fault.
One thing that this movie got right is the fact that Applebee's has rats. I also found a whole rat in my Cobb Salad.
Fried or grilled?
I can’t believe this wasn’t ever done before. Giving it a thumbs up before watching because I know it’ll be epic. Should do all the Will Ferrell movies.
I'm not proud of this, but I spent 4 years in the 80s delivering pizzas and I can say with 100% certainty that I witnessed every pizza delivery sin in this video IRL.. most more than once.
Actually the phrase "with all due respect" is a common phrase in the military. I used it when I told my gun mount safety officer "with all due respect Mr Byrd, your fired, get the fuck off my gun mount"
The wasp. 100% the wasp is the scariest thing to be trapped in a car with. I'd take the cougar over the wasp any day of the week.... if the cougars calm in the car and already been fed, so much the better, since there is more of a chance the cougar will just chill in the back or something :'D

It’s Talledega Nights. It’s like criticizing a mime’s performance for weak dialogue. Also, like half the movie “sins” in these videos are only sins because the reviewer didn’t follow the movie or just got lazy. Reminds why I haven’t watched one of these in over 5 years.
