Guessing colored silica quartz sand. It has an extremely high melt temp. The sand has adhered to the melting float glass. The areas with particles moving are air pockets between the float glass. The sand inside the air pockets did not make contact with the melting float glass which allows the sand to move freely.

Hi Stephen. I'll do a post in the Community in a couple of days to reveal, but good guess.

I’m guessing ceramic glaze for the secret ingredient. Thank you for the video Jeff!

Actually, I did revel all in the Community chat. It was coloured sand. Sand has a much higher melting point.

Fĺòat glass has a zinc coating you can see with black light which can cause haze if that helps❤

I forgot about that. I've heard it somewhere. Next time I must remember.

Can't afford to join but love your work. What was the secret mixture in the glass. I love that it was able to move around.

Hi Margaret. If enough people guess correctly I'll announce what it is in the Community. Keep you guessing.

Is it maybe sand blast medium? Silicon carbide or AlO3 for example?

Hi Bez. The colours are from fusing coloured sand within the glass.

    Colored fine sand

My guess is, you used iron or copper powder. Or, colored sand.

Both good guesses, but is either correct?

I have to join some other commentators and take a guess that your secret ingredient is colored sand!
