This game honestly made me realize how important friends and families are. I took them for granted but this game made me realize how they can disappear in less than a second causing me too value my friends and family more than ever :) I do wish to find more games like this.
Yea agreed, as one that loves Indiegames, i may have a few Suggestions for you to check out, although they are not super similar like this one, but still have a high emotional Value and style(also all Indie of course!):
*Oxenfree* (Time and Space mystery, friends, loop, more than one playthrough recommended)
*A Space for the Unbound* (this one comes rather close to its style but well... i hope you like Cats😸)
*Transistor* (alone the Soundtrack, Story and Voiceacting is quite nice, also newgame+)
*Pyre* (same devs as Transistor, easy/chill game, lots of good Voiceacted Dialog and choices, winning or losing can be a choice too)
*Spiritfarer* (pretty chill/relaxing game, with high emotional value and Style, title says it all, lots of _letting go_ )
For something _a lot_ shorter than those mentioned above, *Little Misfortune* has also quite some good charm, high emotional value especially with that Voiceacting.

It's been 2 days since I finished the game, and somethings been bugging me out. Notice how on the end they we're seen on a cafe called "tadhana" which translates to "destiny" and we have this phrase in the PH where we say "nakatadhana para sa isa't-isa." which translates to "destined for each other." Soooooo, even though they didn't met up with each other is it SAFE to ASSUME that they would still end up with eachother!?!?? LIKE PLEASE SOMEONE AGREE WITH ME. I NEED THEM TO END UP TOGETHER!!!

It's safe to say that there is an another timeline where they still end up together and Cathy is safe. I just couldn't get out of my system about Stein's Gate anime theory😅
Nah this is canon, they end up to together somehow, both of their dates flop and they get together. Totally not coping hard

i read this someone's headcanon from a comment section somewhere. It was really well written too. Too bad OP deleted it. i could only recall some key parts of it. (but, good Lord the amount of attention to detail...)
the story assumes Nicole was famous and suggests she'd been to a talk show (or even had her own?), while Mark, still skilled at the piano, is at a loss after college, which explains why he's dating 4 times, (or date a girl 4 times?) and failed (looking for inspiration, y'know, the spark) (idk about Nicole. OP said she was prolly either peer or fam pressured into getting a spouse at her age, or completed her chad arc that's why she looking for someone to lean on.)
In summary, each of their dates failed after a few days or months or so. One day, they end up at the same cafe, coping on all those dates that went to nothing, still sitting at the same alternate chairs one table apart, looking for some closure, but to no avail, apparently. By tadhana, they ordered the same latte, with the same latte art (the butterfly, for some reason) (OP explained Mark is usually a black coffee person but ordered latte since he's seeking comfort, and Nicole's basically an art enthusiast so...yea) Mark noticed this, and, having bumped into a fellow latte person, got the conversation going, recalling those times he was a barista at starbonks in the principal's office, and only now recognized a familiar face: it was Nicole Lacsamana from THAT talk show. Flustered to meet a fan, she asks if he tunes often. Mark cons he is a fan, though not really until recently he heard Nicole, being the virtuoso that she is, play that piece that reminded him of his mom, which he implied. Daring to make an impression, he then points out he couldn't help but play it himself right after, even showing a vid Cathy secretly took from him playing and posted on social media. Nicole was shocked a fan, who turned out to be an air conditioner, plays the piano too. Gobsmacked, even, seeing how he nailed her composition. She even found out he plays Darkfiends and a top local player to boot. Then, they just pun each other ig laughing their tummies off having the time of their lives eventually agreeing to a date (via puns, still) and the rest is history.
I might be missing some important details about the story. that's all I can remember.

I agree, the coffee scene in the principal's office is definitely a hint. The ending seems open ended but id say it is slightly weighted towards them being together. Also saw on another post the name of the café translates to destiny which could be another hint to them still being tied together.

I finally finished watching this whole 20 hours, this game seriously left an impression on me, it’s one of my first times I remember just straight up watching this, i love the story and everything about this game, and this game taught me a lot and I’m grateful for the person who played the game and the creators who made it.

You know what I hoped would happen deep down, even though it would totally mess up the themes that the true ending gives, I was hoping that they lock eyes, and it sent you back to the alarm clock at the very start of the game, turning the story into a perfect loop. It would however make the uplifting message of "You can move on and let go of the tragedies in your past and live a fulfilling and satisfying life" into a much more depressing message of "You can never truly move on from your trauma, and are doomed to fall into the cycle again and again"

How do gou get different endings? I hate the first ending I haven't felt this empty since edgerunners or the AOT ending
after the first ending you wait for the post credits and pick continue, it starts the 2nd run and eventually the 3rd one
