- Hailey Mia grew up with a love of music and has been singing since she could talk. When she was 8 years old, she had to have surgery to correct the deteriorating vision in her right eye but says music was the driving force that got her through it all. After a successful surgery, she regained over 30 percent of her vision and went on to teach herself how to read music and play the piano. Which performance by Hailey is your favorite? Great singer, well-mentored. Song selection is so important, Kelly did great but Hailey also sing with passion and presence. Enjoyed her voice. Started at 13, won at 14. So many years ahead for her. Hope she is managed well.

She grew so much through out the whole competition, Kelly really did a very great job! For me, the best performance of Hailey Mia was the Deja Vu, Funny, and of course the final performance. She is such a beauty by the way. Her voice is beautiful, obviously,but she herself is beautiful too! 😭❤️

@@yoma9475 yeah, I think Deja vu is the worst with weak breath control,... when she stand up and with all the rest of the performance. I'm kind of disappointed with her Deja vu and don't know why she bring such bad performance to the stage in the Final night.

What an amazing talent. She's just walked into the American Idol studios and said she was 16 years old. I remember her being brilliant on the Voice a few years ago and I couldn't believe that's she's still only 16. I had to come back here to convince myself and remind myself she was only 13 when she auditioned for the Voice. I really hope she gets something out of it this time. Let's see how her CZcams channel grows while she's on Idol (if she has a channel at 16 years old).

Kelly knows what the contestants are going through thanks to American Idol. She is a queen of music helping contestants to become the best they can be & prepare them for the industry. Hailey was in great hands, I live in UK so not able to watch other versions of the voice so these videos are awesome for me to see what talent is coming out of other countries(mainly Australia & USA); Hailey's journey at such a young age is great to watch, I know for a fact I wouldn't have the guts to go on a show like this when I was 13 - such a brave girl. Sad she didn't win but with a voice like that let's hope that she gets picked up by a good management & label who understands her & her style because she has a bright future ahead & I would hate to see it ruined. As good as she is at 13 is unbelievable. She's so good already at both ends of the scale. The softer notes and then can power up . With her pushing her voice at this age , by the time she is 18 I just can't wait to hear what she can accomplish.

Ariana is nice, got a great scene presence, but Kelly is a true good singer, great technician of the voice. She helped her more in one session than Ariana did too. That should be proof enough.

@@D_W4LIFE like I said just after : she's a great voice technicians. She knows her voice, she knows her body and herself enough to always be on point & she got the ability to pass it on to others. Which ain't something everyone can do.
Some ppl are born to teach others, spread their passions.
Some other good or great singers, with or without showmanship/showomanship, don't have that capacity (yet or never will cause it's not who they are or could be, and it's okay).
