It’s unique and original I love how they used ballet to pop songs for dancing style of ballet and hip hop brilliant girls!! I loved it! It was awesome! I can’t wait to see what more they have!

The entire point of the Hiplets is to include everyone. Any Ballet dancer who was told by their teachers or directors of countless Ballet companies that they we're too short, fat, their techinque is wrong, the turnout is bad. This company is breaking the normal standard practice of ballet companies and they slay.
Ballerinas usually dont last past the age of 30.
and they do have a reputable instructor.

For ballet this is actually super inclusive lol
They are saying that because typically ballerinas have to have a VERY specific body type: Long limbs and no body fat so that they can create very clean lines. Its especially difficult for women of color to be ballerinas because they tend to be a bit curvier or more muscular. These women would have an extremely tough time ever getting into a ballet troupe just because of their bodies. Thats why they said they have their own little inclusive troupe, because professional ballet does not allow women of all sizes.
Ballerinas are EXPECTED to look like ANOREXICS.
Students who arent built long and lean are discouraged from ballet.
The funky moves on pointe just didn't work. Take the shoes off and just
dance without trying to force ballet to be something it's not. You're
all beautiful and talented but the gimmick of ballet preamble to hip hop
didn't work (for me).

@@scruffypupper hiplet ballet is hip hop on point it's a fusion the owner of hiplet saw how black people and people of different sizes were treated back in the 1900,s and while touring the world saw something that inspired him and he decided to combine ballet and hip hop making it hiplet
