On Halloween night, John goes a little cat crazy after going on a date with a peculiar woman.
This film was originally made for the 2023 Buried Alive Horror Film Festival in Atlanta, GA. In which the objective was to create a horror short film in 13 days. At the start of the competition we randomly drew from a selection of varying horror genres and had to select either combine the horror genres or put one back. We drew witches/the occult, and animals/nature and off we went.

My name is Levi Morgan, I am an Atlanta based filmmaker who specializes in making horror short films. Horror is one of my favorite genres of films, films like Evil Dead 2 and Halloween (1978) have been huge inspirations to me and I hope to be able to make horror films that impact people the way those films did for me. LOVED IT!! Levi, that was totally awesome. I have two girl cats and am going to play this on the big screen and see if they watch. LOL. But, ummm, don't want to give them any ideas since neither is declawed. BTW . . . I have a crush on the actor in the flannel shirt. Happy Halloween!

I hope your cats will never be declawed, because it is a horrendous practice, it essentially takes off part of the cat's finger up to the first knuckle, and it causes them lifelong pain. That and removes the main form of self defense it has. Declawing cats is evil.

have you thought about putting subtitles to your shorts? I think that way a lot more people would be able to see them and they'd turn out even more professional, just an opinion, greetings from Montevideo Uruguay (next to Argentina) you make a great work here, keep it up, I really like this kind of horror!!!
I actually have thought about doing that! I really wanted to get the subtitles done before the release of this film but I unfortunately ran out of time. @@LeviMorganFilmsI'm embarrassed now, cause what I meant to say was a dubbing into Spanish like the movies; that would be the way for the shorts to reach more people around the world; however I love the subtitles in English because English is not my mother tongue and it helps me develop my ear and those parts I'm not able to get I can read them! anyway Pal, I don't want you to feel pressure on you, it was just a suggestion, as I said I prefer spoken English and subtitles in English too, BUT with subs in Spanish would be the way for the shorts to catch more audience, a hug!
Oh okay, I get what you are saying. And I do think that is something I could look into for future projects, especially when I make a feature length film I will have several different options for dubs and subtitles so no worries there. For the time being I'm glad the subtitles are able to help, again I appreciate the comment and the suggestion, you've been very kind.
