Working within their capabilities not over revved and thrashed by inexperienced drivers who go for noise and black smoke .Look after them and enjoy.

Great video as always, nice to see older tractors still working hard doing what they were built for as opposed to going pop pop pop around a rally field or slowly dissolving attached to a yard scraper. What depth and width were they ploughing it looks a meaty furrow.?

Is Fordson different from ford tractors 🚜 🤔?

No, its just the name they were sold under from 1918 to 1964 and 1918 to 1939 in North America. Still produced by the Ford Motor Company

@@tractorbarnproductions2009 In fact Henry Ford established that tractor company for his son Edsel. there comes the name Fordson from, the son of Ford. They started with some tractors and quickly recognized there was a huge market coming for it.

@@decnijfkris3706 originally there was also a problem with a Ford Tractor already being built in 1917-18 by another company, it was a disaster but used the Ford name. Henry Ford had to start a new company to produce a tractor anyway, as his investors would not let him make anything but cars, hence Henry Ford & Son was established to build the tractors seperate, initially, from the Ford Motor Company and Fordson was a useful abbreviation. The name stuck and was used by the Ford Motor Company until 1964 on tractors produced in England

Yep, did not know Ford started that early building tractors. Anyways we had a dexta and it was strong and very fast. Everything on it you needed to work as should and much power for such a small bee. My uncle had a super major and then his son cut the front part in half and put a clayson engine in it. That was a beast. ..i mean that Fordson.
