Thanks for watching.
Thank you for a quick, simple and well done video
Thanks very much for that. I've been riding the Claris group on my new bike since May and have been fine tuning the nuances away. That adjustment that you kindly explained finalized setting the entire kit. I really enjoy the new Claris set. I may have had the adjustment half figured so your video assured me that I was doing the right thing. Cheers for all that!
Glad you found the video helpful.
Thanks a lot for that video. The hint that you have to turn the screw a few times before the levers start moving was very important. I didn't get that from the manual.
SIR! I had no idea it is even possible! Last year I sold my road bike with Shimano 105, now i am riding gravel with claris. I have problem with hitting lever (which is shorter than in 105) for higher gear while accelerating fast in traffic, but I came here because it stopped breaking, like there is no tension on the line. I will use compressed air and w40, hopefully it will unstuck before disassembling it, but now I know that I can make the shifters more ergonomic, that's great news for today! Thanks!
Just picked up a Wiggins rouen 700 fitter with claris for my sprog.
This was immensely useful. Cheers
Thank you, this is what i am looking for.

hi i am new to roadbike, if i had old claris groupset, can i buy claris R2000 shifter only?
yes
hi there can you tell the performance difference between this new group vs the new sora, tiagra wich are now all have internal cables, because $50 for just 1 more speed seem alot cheers
Excelente 👍
Hi I have Shimano Claris 2000, the front mech shift is hard to push across. I have cleaned the mech and fitted a new cable. When the cable is not connected the shifting works but when fitted back to the front mech it goes back to being stiff to shift.
I also find the same, I hear thats how it is. The cable seems to pull the item down from verticle making it hard. Other setups the cale is less verticle if that makes sense.
Same setup and same issue. Just one of the tradeoffs with the Claris. FYI though my rear shifter works buttery smooth.
Why mine doesn't have screws inside?
Reminds me of the adjustment on the Microshift. Its a pity that the other shimano shifters reach adjustment isnt as easy to get at. The newer clarus looks way better with the hidden cables. Curious as to what bars you have on that bike and the weight? Im looking for a set of alloy drop bars that have flat tops and arouns 200 to 250 grams but no easy to find without spending as much as carbon.
Glenny the bars are Ritchey Streem iii wcs aluminium, it will depend on what width you are using as to the weight of them.
@@FreeToCycle I'm on 42cm compact for road.
glenny The approx weight is 275g for the 42cm bar.
How do u shift up an sti sti shimano claris on its cogs?
Hello, do you know how many cogs can you shift with one shift? (from smaller to bigger)
Two.
And Claris st 2400?
can we use claris shifters with 9 speed cassette?
No!
Thank you!
Thanks
Thank you!
