Spectrier got banned with similar stats + worse coverage. There's no way Flutter Mane is staying in OU, especially if it still has access to the usual ghostly bag of tricks. Flutter Mane might even have the better ability between the two

the past paradox actually get the stat boost in sun IN GENERAL so sun teams are gonna be brazy, koraidon's ability is a two-in-one (drought + physical attack boost in sun)
the future paradox get the stat boost in electric terrain
miraidon's ability is electric surge + special attack boost in electric terrain (which most likely stacks with the electric terrain 1.3x boost to electric moves)
that would be the best possible scenario for both the legendary and paradox mon
Future hydra is dark/flying so no terrain boost. I won't believe they would make rotom fan-like mistake again.
@@pablosames Flying types and levitate mons can still eat terrain seeds though, the ability would probably still activate for Hydra
@@mattdoyle2451 my thoughts exactly, I think the ability will still take effect for future hydra in electric terrain, it just wont get the regular benefits of the terrain (increased electric power and immune to sleep)
@@SageSpikeX this is correct. Their ability activates in the terrain no matter what. If they can use the boost provided by the terrain then that is simply a bonus for them.

To answer Blunder's Question, Delibird does get destiny bond. It also gets Memento, Rapid Spin, and Freeze-dry.
I think it has potential as a Rapid Spin cleaner with Freeze-dry to shit on bulky waters. Modest can even outspeed Regieleki at +1. It's also deceptively bulky, even having a chance to tank Ferrothorn's Power Whips.

The fact that we have fast and strong fighters like sneasler, lilligant, new gallade, physical volc form and great tusk makes me think that there‘s just no way that ursaluna will be banned. I think the new meta will be chaotic and fun af

You gotta cover the new abilities as well. one is e terrain + spa boost, another one full immunity to status moves
Apparently, the abilities do not work without the Legends being on the field, making them useless in singles.

And the way both of these ability work is boosting the highest Stat during the weather or while holding the item

They could’ve literally just swapped it’s Atk and SpAtk and it would’ve been fine. This is the second Ttar they’ve made that’s no different from the original.

Also, the abilities give the Pokémon a +1 boost to their highest stat in Sun or electric terrain respectively to pair with the legends. Sun is getting banned faster than rain in BDSP 😂

Paradox Hariyama having electric stab, getting it's attack boosted in electric terrain on top of it's electric type attacks getting more powerful from the terrain with the 140 base attack is going to be absolutely insane. Even if it doesn't have a good electric physical move and only gets thunder punch it's going to hit like a freight train

Flutter Mane has great typing and good offensive stats but Blunder is overrating its bulk.
Sure 135 SpDef is good but 55 HP is trash, esp with 55 defense. This thing dies to any shadow sneak or sucker punch, and has a 75% chance to be OHKOed by defensive Lando-T EQ. Zeraora outspeeds and 68% chance to OHKO with plasma fist from full.
It can't handle special moves THAT well either. Even if you put 196 EVs into HP, it still has a chance to be OHKOed by specs Dragapult from full.

Okay but slither wing gets first impression, u-turn, close combat, even flare blitz and earthquake. It can also go defensive distribution with bulk up, leech life and will o wisp or substitute. Also possible flame charge to fix his speed. Gets other coverage too but his design and movepool is so hype
These water/ice types usually have freeze dry, could be an option for pex (I am quite hopeful there will be at least one coverage option for it, even it doesn't get freeze dry)

@@jtizzle124 Pincurchin is a really strong mon tho. Rising voltage nuts all over a lot of things. There’s a lot of ground types running around though so I imagine it’d be hard to fit him on most teams, but if your sweeper is getting to +1 and getting to hold an item then it might be worth idk.
I guarantee the supreme overlord boost is x1.1 and goes to x1.5 if it’s the last mon alive. No way is it a x1.5 boost starting and increase from there.
Still an insane ability and will probably get the Bisharp evo banned from OU, but it won’t be broken like how Intrepid Sword is. In doubles formats then the best boost you could get is x1.3, which GF probably thought was manageable.
yall gotta look at some of the pokemon changes. Nerfing cress, zacian and zamazenta, and ash-gren. Also a lot of the PLA mons got updated abilities (notably rock head arcanine-h !!!, tinted lens braviary-h and scrappy decidueye-h). caveat is that this stuff is unconfirmed bc source is 4-chan

I am surprised out of this entire video no one mentioned all of them technically have all types as coverage due to Tera type change, which its corresponding move will always be the type you turn into and go off of your highest offense stat.

since apart from the new item the future paradoxes with their ability get their strongest stats boosted under electric terrain, it would make sense if its setters were in the game and pincurchin is so ass they themselves probably forgot about him too so i feel like koko will come at least in the dlc. tapus will be back beware.
I like how Scarlet's names are unique for each pokemon, and then all the Violet paradox mons are just Iron, it's like they got lazy halfway through the process of thinking about these crap names

There is no shot that iron bundle delibird stays OU, not with that unmatched speed tier and typing if it gets freeze dry. (Only dragapult and regieleki outspeed.) Nothing walls freeze dry, ice beam, and surf without abilities so I would be surprised if it stays ou...

What does based lord mean by choice band +1 is equivalent to plus 4 at 31:00? Am I misunderstanding something about the choice items?
The choice items and regular stat boosts are independent multipliers. Meaning that if you have a band and a +1 attack stage your attack stat is actually 1.5*1.5 = 2.25 times higher as opposed to if you were +2 attack and only 2 times stronger. Saying it's equivalent to +4 was probably an exaggeration or him just not wanting to do the math lol

The one thing Grass/Dark has going for it is the immunity to both Powder and Prankster. It might be good in VGC, even if you can't use it in OU due to the 4x weakness to U-Turn.

If the item gives a Download +1 every time a paradox switches in it's getting banned: Mence getting +1 Atk for free; Gallade, Misdreavus and Delibird getting +1 Speed is gonna shred HO, instant +1 Mecha Volc is killing everything after 1 Quiver dance and Tera Psychic or Ground.
Iron Jugulis seems more like a dark type Tornadus-Therian without regenerator. offensively, I would give it some consideration and time considering the moves a regular hydriegon knows
New magnezone with ice terastalize will be dope, hitting grass and ground, plus the new hail will boost defense, too.
the ability on these johns is crazy. you either have the option of giving them a specific item to active the +1 boost or you can put them in sun/electric terrain respectively. So if you're running sun/electric terrain then you can free up your item slot.
I think Iron Jugulis might actually do its job a little better than hydreigon Bc it could have this double dance thing going, you run speed boosting quark drive and plot or spA boosting quark drive plus agility or dd, think the typing is sturdier too bc you lose a fighting weakness, a 4x fairy, and a dragon weakness as a draco dropper slower than latis and pult and stuff. I'm excited to use it fo sho
