Physical Gold for retirement (IRA) can be costly to maintain including storage fees since you can't physically have the gold.
Can be more expensive, but the tax benefits definitely outweigh.
And with todays economy, it’s a much better option than traditional 401ks
I'm confused by your comment what is the reason for not being able to physically own gold I am just now starting to get into precious metals but my grandfather has been doing this for decades and has physical gold
@@Trump328 oh you can definitely own physical gold and we recommend it as part of the diversification. With a gold IRA you cannot physically have it - there is tax benefits to the gold IRA which is why we recommend that in addition to the physical gold and silver
@@Trump328 It's the new IRA that just came out where you can invest in physical precious metals using your before tax income. Current IRAs you can't touch your money before your retirement age in a financial institution. Same here where physical gold has to be held by an institutiion that deals with physical precious metals and you have no access to it until retirement age. This is where you incure storage charges.
