It’s crazy, bc i was doing some research on Abdullah the Ethiopian Rabbi & he talks about how if you control your perception then you can change your physical reality & that’s so true! I went to NO for the first time & saw a different culture that I like & always kept it with me. In my area we’re known for being very brief & short-spoken: however, after visiting NO I always try to keep that outgoing vibe. I'm assuming he's referring to David from the Old testament of the Bible. He literally was quoting scripture, I remember that verse but never truly understood it until now. Jesus was referred to in the Bible multiple times as "The Son of David". Jesus is literally David's great grandson 42 generations later according to the genealogy of Jesus which can be found in Matthew 1:2-16 and Luke 3:23-38 of the bible. Hope that helps clear that up.
I understand the usefulness of this tool. I disagree with his concept of Jesus. Did he really think that Jesus chose to die a brutal death just for kicks? No, Jesus died to save people. As he sweated blood in the garden of Gethsemane, he asked of God, that if it be His will, if there were another way, to take that cup from Jesus. Jesus is Lord. Believing in Him will save you .

It’s weird that many argue about who taught Neville. You wouldn’t argue if you understood how teaching and learning happens. Someone taught Abdullah, then he taught others. In fact, this teaching is thousands of years old. It’s been in secret societies for many generations. I’ve read books of authors who were much older then Abdullah who talked about this. Abdullah didn’t “invent” these universal laws. They always existed. Neville considered him a friend and a teacher. Learning something doesn’t make you an expert, practicing and experiencing it, does. Neville experienced this teaching and discovered more on his own. Neville learned from many sources, just like Jesus did. He was a mystic who discovered the truth and brought this knowledge to millions. Jesus didn’t give a credit to his many teachers across many philosophies and countries. Every student puts his/her own spin on what they learned and teach the way they understand it.
I agree. I read that Abdullah followed the laws of the Kyballion and the Hermetic principles so i looked that up and started reading into that. It’s weird that many argue about who taught Neville. You wouldn’t argue if you understood how teaching and learning happens.
Someone taught Abdullah, then he taught others. In fact, this teaching is thousands of years old. It’s been in secret societies for many generations. I’ve read books of authors who were much older then Abdullah who talked about this.
Abdullah didn’t “invent” these universal laws. They always existed. Neville considered him a friend and a teacher. Learning something doesn’t make you an expert, practicing and experiencing it, does. Neville experienced this teaching and discovered more on his own.
Neville learned from many sources, just like Jesus did. He was a mystic who discovered the truth and brought this knowledge to millions. Jesus didn’t give a credit to his many teachers across many philosophies and countries. Every student puts his/her own spin on what they learned and teach the way they understand it.
I agree. I read that Abdullah followed the laws of the Kyballion and the Hermetic principles so i looked that up and started reading into that. In my opinion its beautiful if you are open to it, it has made me read the Bible with new eyes and a new heart.
