    Finally!! Linked double crochet with straight edges!! So many tutorials just completely ignore that issue and even don't show the edge! As much as I love the stitch I couldn't sacrifice straight edges. Thank you!!!

    thank you Ashlea. I've watched several videos of this stitch and you're the only one that showed how to make a straight edge.

    Nice n your explanation was on point. I don’t like holes in my crochet unless that’s the way the pattern made n I shy away from those mostly bcuz most of my projects are babies related.

    Very cool looking. At first it looked like a sideways single crochet around middle of 2 the DC stitches. I’m definitely going to practice this stitch. It’ll be a great stitch for Afghans for my 2 rambunctious grandsons. Thank you for sharing this stitch.

    Thank you so much. I haven't used this stitch before. Doing a slouch beanie for my Son, just finished the ribbed band and this was the next stitch for the rest of the beanie. Love your website. Thanks again. xx

      7, since we're going into the 2nd and the 4th to make the first Ldc.

    Hi, just wondering how you go from a double crochet to linked double crochet in your pattern for Afghan?

  • @YonkersNY3636
    @YonkersNY3636 Před 4 lety

    On your Mae's Chevron pattern, Row 1, you say "Ldc in next 8 stitches". But that's after putting a (regular?) DC in the 4th chain from the hook. So do how do I start the Ldc?

    I found a pattern that says linked treble crochet would I insert my hook to have 4 stitches on my crochet hook?

    • @HeartHookHome
      @HeartHookHome  Před 4 lety

      You would pull up a loop in each of those horizontal bars, then again in the next stitch for 4 loops total, yes.
