Finally!! Linked double crochet with straight edges!! So many tutorials just completely ignore that issue and even don't show the edge! As much as I love the stitch I couldn't sacrifice straight edges. Thank you!!!
thank you Ashlea. I've watched several videos of this stitch and you're the only one that showed how to make a straight edge.
Amazing tutorial. Best for this stitch. Ty!
Nice n your explanation was on point. I don’t like holes in my crochet unless that’s the way the pattern made n I shy away from those mostly bcuz most of my projects are babies related.
Thank you for this. Your explanation and angle of the shot allowed me to understand the how and why this stitch works. I can now remember what I'm doing forever. 😍
among all the others, thus far, your explanations are succinct and make this seem possible! thank you SO MUCH!!!
Omgoodness. Going into the back bar of the turning chain? Mind. Blown. 🤯 Huge. Difference. Thank you!!! 😂😂 Oh, and I'm also loving the double linked crochet!!
Thank you for this stitch!! I love to double crochet, but like you said not sturdy at times.
Thanks, hugs
Thank you for showing this. It's so pretty. Love these tutorials.
Love this! I already have 2 blankets stared but this one is definitely vunna be my next one once I get done with my other 2. Ty 4 sharing!
Thanks for the info. Ordered my needles from them already. Love them.
Wonderful!
DEFINITELY a nice sturdy stitch!!! 😍😍😍
I love this stitch, thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I kept screwing up the linked double crochet stitch in your Toe-tally Easy Sock pattern. After watching this video I realized what I was doing wrong😀.
Wow, I love learning new stitiches and techniques. Thank you so much. Look forward to yur pattern and hopefully a tutorial.
You are very clever. I love learning new stitches 😍❤️😍
Ooooooo! Something new! Thank you!
Good to know. Thx. Jackie
Very cool looking. At first it looked like a sideways single crochet around middle of 2 the DC stitches. I’m definitely going to practice this stitch. It’ll be a great stitch for Afghans for my 2 rambunctious grandsons. Thank you for sharing this stitch.
Thank you so much for your time and your talents with us. I have just learned a new stitch.
Thank you so much. I haven't used this stitch before. Doing a slouch beanie for my Son, just finished the ribbed band and this was the next stitch for the rest of the beanie. Love your website. Thanks again. xx
I am not a big fan of the double crochet stitch, but I love this method, I will be using it from now on instead..
What a cool Stitch!
Awesome technique definitely great for crocheting sweaters 💕 thank you for sharing

Thanks a lot
You're welcome!
this was an epic tutorial, so well explained!! hoping to start on your sock pattern for my next project!
Wonderful!
Thank you Ashley for this video, do you have one on the linked half double and the linked Trc also?
Love it!!! May I ask what yarn and the name of the color (green shade) is? 😊
A very interesting tutorial! My problem with multiple rows of dc is forgetting the stitch at the top of the chain, drives me nuts!
Hi! Thank you for this stitch tutorial! If you started out with 10 chains how many final stitches do you end up with, 8?
7, since we're going into the 2nd and the 4th to make the first Ldc.
hello i love the stitch but i would like to know what kind of hook did you use ?
Love your needle, where did you buy it from?
Odyssey from furls
I was wondering would this stitch work for a beanie?
Flexible? Uses how much more yarn /g or linear scale, like twice, or 1/3 more in linear scale?
Hi, just wondering how you go from a double crochet to linked double crochet in your pattern for Afghan?
On your Mae's Chevron pattern, Row 1, you say "Ldc in next 8 stitches". But that's after putting a (regular?) DC in the 4th chain from the hook. So do how do I start the Ldc?
Hook into the one just before it.
Love your crochet hook! Where can they be purchased? Brand name? Thank you!
Looks like furls oddesy
I found a pattern that says linked treble crochet would I insert my hook to have 4 stitches on my crochet hook?
You would pull up a loop in each of those horizontal bars, then again in the next stitch for 4 loops total, yes.
