  • I departed Georgetown at 6:45am, heading west for Lexington, KY. I flew around several restricted areas in MD, crossed the Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac River, where I entered VA. Headwinds were strong so I diverted to Louisa, VA LKU and added some extra fuel for the flight to Lexington. There is a lot of water to fly over south of the Washington DC and Baltimore area. It was a beautiful flight.

I absolutely loved this video! I was born in Varina, Va in Henrico! Our home backed up to the James River!! Our area was all where the Civil War was. My brother found gun magazines , arrows, and the butt of a gun! All on our property! My Dad was born in Louisa! We had a boat on the Patuxant!
You stirred up so many memories! Super special loving❣️♥️
I have some pictures from Louisa I would love to share with you! My Dads home place and the church we always went too! My cousins lived on the Santa Anna River! You have truly made my night!! Thank you so very much if you send me your email I will send you my pictures❣️♥️🙏🏼
