Namaste ! Thank you so much . But, this puzzle was very easy. It had a hidden single 9 in block 4. As there isn’t any other cell where 9 is a possibilty, 9 must appear in this particular cell . And then, we will get the answer. ☺️

Before trying to locate the XY pattern in the examples given in this video, I had gone through your video XY where this technique was exhaustively explained and all illustrations were given. The concept is clearly understood by me and was easily able to find out the digits forming XY pattern and the digits which can be eliminated in the given puzzles.In the 3rd exercise, the digits 14 and 46 were in the same block and the third set of digits 1and 6(16) are in the same row where the cell also contained 14. I relly love to see your videos on expert Sudoku puzzles solutions and the various techniques explained so well .

Delighted to see first kind of this series. Another best part done is, leaving the third Puzzle as a home task else everyone tries to jump to the solution before scratching their own heads.
2. In the first Puzzle, I did it by applying UR technique by using R1,C1&2, R3C3 and R9, C 1&2. Could get the solution. In your solution later, I observed you have done by XY technique. Kiindly guide if my attempt of UR was correct.
3. Hope you keep posting such series with leaving some Puzzle as home task for your patrons, to be solved by you the next day. It will benefit patrons to gain expertise.

There is definitely a unique rectangles pattern there with (7,9). But, we will not get any elimination from that... we would have to treat (1,3) from R1 C1 and 2 as bivalued cell .After treating (1,3) as one bivalued cell we won’t get any elimination. Another way of using the UR is that 7 must appear in any one of the two cells and this will help us eliminate 9 from these two cells.. that will get us a locked 9 in block 1 and we can eliminate 9 from column 3 row 5... but, we won’t still get the answer...
I would try to bring a video and explain this particular thing , if possible ..
But, we won’t get the answer here by UR ...

@@AviJainClasses thanks dear for your valuable guidance and clarity in my mind. Infact, I had treated 139 in R3C3 as one cell and deleted '1' at R2C3 and arrived at a correct solution. So that may be a tuka hence two digits (1,3) appearing in R1C1&2 must appear as a bivalued cell.

Yes, there is the xy wing, but we are not getting any eliminatiom from this trick . This puzzle will be further solved by the hidden single 9 in the block 4 as 9 can appear in one place only in that block. But, you have very correctly located the xy wing, though. ☺️🙏
does r2c8, r3c5 and r3c9 equal a xyz wing? If I am correct that would force the elimination of 4 in r3c2
