Bec Noir was just a dog with new powers avenging his master
the Mayor was just an exile who was killed for making a bad decision on what to eat
PM was just a messenger who saw and avenged her friend's death
but Rose and Dave were the ones who got me the most
the look they shared before their death showed that they weren't just an emotionless cool kid and an intellectual book worm
they were really just two scared 13 year old kids who just wanted to play a game with their friends

I always get the craziest goose flesh when Dave and Rose ascend. That violin (if I'm correct in assuming that is, in fact, a violin) is astounding, and I lose the ability to breathe for just a second every time I hear it!

holy shit. every time i watch this, my heart starts pounding and i just wanna watch homestuck from the very beginning again. it shows you just how far the kids and trolls have gotten from where they started. love this animation and always will. this is why i love homestuck. it's got it's hilarious moments then it has it's badass and heartfelt moments like this. homestuck really has gone a long way

This is my favorite part so far. I've watched this on let's read Homestuck on the actual Homestuck website and this one a few times and I god I love it so much. And keep in mind I haven't finished Homestuck yet but I think this will stay my favorite part.

You know, I am always amazed whenever I watch this flash, but the reason I am so amazed is I can barely believe that one day.... ALL of this, took place in just one day for the kids...
I cant believe this was 13 minutes long, i remember sitting at the computer with my mom yelling at me to come down for dinner and me sweating my ass off because i wanted to see what came next.

This part. i got so excited. Its so intense., Intensly amazing and beautiful. Hussie has surely put a lot of work into making this. This has to be one of my favorite parts of homestuck. Its just so different. and amazing. I Love this. Its so hard to understand how people have difficulty getting into the fandom...
It never ceases to amaze me, how everything in the entire Homestuckiverse actually pieces itself together, little by little. As well as how one man can create anything near this amazing, so amazing and headache-inducing that I learn even more every time I re-read. :D
This is absolutely amazing. This is all done by one man. The writing, the art, the animation, the music... Andrew Hussie is, as they say in Paradox Space, "A literary puppet master. You think and feel only and exactly what my art compels you to." XD But seriously, I'm so glad to be a part of this incredible webcomic, and I know I'll keep reading it for a long time. This page is an absolute masterpiece, and I love this entire experience as a Homestuck. Thanks Hussie, and thanks everybody.
Actually i think he had help with some of the art, and Toby Fox did most of the music.
Yeah, Andrew did most of the art and animation but there were a few definitely donated pieces. And yes Toby Fox and many other artists work on the music

rewatching it, 8:52 is a huge sock to the gut because now I know that Jade didn't come back to life. when she god tiered, her consciousness wasnt transfered to her dream self. her memories were copied and pasted *into* the dream self and so when it transformed into a god, this jade...isnt the original jade. perfect copy, down to the soul but the original consciousness was still in the original jade (which i hope to god made it into the dream bubbles)
given this logic, the original John must have been in the dream bubbles for a very long time before the other original four came along and agh--its a fate worse than death. can you imagine yourself on your deathbed and you see another you flying by and waving? heartbreaking. :((
