I call it one of the best coaching jobs in NBA history. There were reports that HC Steve Kerr was livid with the performance of his players during the 1st half and went off on them in the locker room at half-time. It took some work for the Warriors players to figure it out in the 2nd half, but they overcame their blunders and prevailed in winning this game 7 as good championship teams do.
I have difficulty picturing Kerr “livid & went off…”

They stopped driving because they were getting clobbered in the paint and no calls were being made. People also tend to forget the 3s harden had where klay Thompson was literally running directly under him
Something about the warriors...
They give teams a pseudo lead that exhaust them and in the third quarter, when teams have tired legs, warriors starts hitting from all corners with all manners of barrage of shots, and then opposing feels perplexed like there's nothing more that could be done other than to wonder how those tough shots are made!!!
Warriors is a different beast when they activate their code!!!
Game 7 was a choke job but CP3 getting injured really did it for the Rockets
Don’t focus to much on Harden ,he’s gonna tire after a while ,Draymond explained this in a interview (or was it Steph)
That was their tactics ,worked pretty well

In this great dynasty run, this is the Mt. Everest of Warriors wins for me. The GOAT Warriors win. Everyone knew the winner of this game was beating the Cavs. I've rewatched this game more than any other. Absolute glory.
That game was a robbery. The refs just were in favor of the warriors. They didn't call a lot of fouls. One example that we can see in this video is in 7:55. That screen by Jordan Bell was criminal. Klay Thompson checked out in the first quarter with 3 fouls, but he should have had more. If you don't believe me you can investigate by your own. I'm sure that there will be some videos on yt about it. Jordan Bell and Thompson fouled Harden a lot of times and refs didn't call them. I know that the Rockets missed 27 threes in a row which made them lose the game, but some of those threes were fouls (not called). This is inexcusable, specially when you are about to beat one of the greatest dinasties in NBA History, and you're trying to go to the NBA finals

27 misses..... thats choked and not only because of defense. A lot of shots were wide open 3s that houston missed
@@skrskr8736 had to rewatch the game. 9 open looks, 15 contested, 2 harden foul hunting, 1 open look but from a player who hasn't played in months. There is truth to that, "Choke" is continuing missing open shots, KD was more or less "Shut Down". I'm not saying that to insult KD, it's just that Boston defence was something to see.
This epic choke job would have been even more legendary if Doc Rivers was the coach.
What about the warriors 3-1 vs Cleveland? That should be the Biggest Choke in History Especially after winning 73 games that same season
They had SO many chances to switch up their game and prevent a comeback, but instead they continued to be one trick ponies and panicked. Absolutely pathetic performance.
so we ignore the refs and their miss calls too???
Jay Pennie Ok they missed some calls, but that doesn’t serve as an excuse for the Rockets to just panic shoot 3s when the Warriors made a couple of shots and not change up their strategy to ensure a victory.
@@mariofan2867 you got a point can’t deny that but let’s not act like some free throws don’t go a long way in determining games now
Jay Pennie Yes, free throws can change the dynamic and outcome of a game. And with those missed calls they had it could have shifted momentum for the Rockets. However let’s be real here, chucking up 27 3s in a row while refusing to switch strategies will lead to disastrous results. I’m pretty sure after missing around 5-6 3s, the coach would call for more effective and reliable shots like midrange or more attacks to the rim while occasionally shooting 3s to maintain the lead. That would have been way better and it would have led to a secured victory for the Rockets. But no, they never switched strategies.
That's why you never let the giant to wake up!!!!!
