    I noticed this government taxes whatever Southerners buy the most. More Northerners buy fertilizer and the government doesn't tax or VAT it. Dangote hasn't paid taxes since he was born, he's getting waiver upon waiver while Innoson motors hasn't gotten any help from the government.

  • @obiflex
    @obiflex Před 2 lety +2

    Nigeria cannot package the gas that it has in abundance for export and domestic consumption and that is the reason why gas is so costly in Nigeria. We would keep making a fool of ourselves until the world moves completely away from gas and petroleum to renewable energy. Nigeria is just a failed state

    Tope you want regulation on gas but you were against that same regulation on housing the other day... Nigeria is the most open and free economy, without control or regulation,where anyone can come in and charge whatever....The man is very informed and well spoken on his field. I have always said that too, Nigeria price everything to international price when the minimum wage abroad is 100 times higher than Nigeria.. How many people in Nigeria can afford this dollar pricing in housing etc when their salary is less than one hundred pounds sterling per month? I've wondered why petrol is subsidies in Nigeria, its like subsiding for the rich. If you can afford a car you should be able to fill it up, it's one of the reasons there are too much cars in Nigeria,polluting and destroying the environment. The money spent on petrol subsidies should be used on gas and electricity....Christains are waiting for Boris Johnson to come and save them thinking they are waiting for someone called jesus christ coming from the sky. Imagine if all the churches in Nigeria are industries, gas refinery etc Nigeria would not have a single problem. Sending lots of love and light. Thank you.

    The main issue is increase in price, worldwide. This is as a result of increasing production as COVID restrictions are being lifted. Add devaluation of currency to it and you end up with high cost of gas.
