for me, after riding 8.25, then riding 8.5 for about two years, and going back down to 8.25 this year, I gotta say I feel much better on the smaller size, 8.5 just feels like too much board for me

solid setup dude! i've been flirting wih the idea of tryin slappy trucks lately. that twin tip Roberts board is hand's down the best symmetrical board i've skated. good choice

They grind soo good, they turn almost like an ace. I personally didn’t like the pop tho but that’s a personal preference. I’d throw some Indy bushings on there tho cuz the top washer shreds those bushings

I just bought a complete too and I’m fucking loving it. Deathwish 8.38 Jake Hayes 423 pro model, thunder polished titanium lights 149, spitfire lock ins 52mm,andale Tiago lemos bearings, thunder hardware with 1 gold bolt, shake junt grip, and 1 medium purple spitfire fire head sticker on the nose of my board. Best full complete I ever bought and I still have the shoes coming in the mail which are the DC OG Lynx I’ve had my set up for a bout a week now i like to break in a brand new complete before I also put on new shoes everything all at ounce is asking for rolling ankles
